It's always a pain to change out a starter because they are typically in an odd spot. Once the old one was out, this bolted right in and my truck started right up. The only small detail is that the holes for the screws holding the shield are a tiny bit to small so I couldn't reuse the 2 screws that were on there. Fits good and is like oem. Feels like it takes longer to start with this one. The old one was starting to click but I would wait a minute or two and it would crank right up. I could be overthinking it to be honest. It’s just how it feels though. I was just driving the truck yesterday and got this part the next day install was like 30 minutes. Easy install. Starts great. Seems to have a lot more torque. The old starter had 166000 on it so no way to compare. I think this is a great buy.
