3/4" Drive Split-Beam Detachable Ratchet Click Wrench, 200-600 lb.ft. Split- Beam Click Wrenches overcome many of the problems associated with micrometer- style clock wrenches in abusive environments. The wrench has few components, and all critical parts are welded together at assembly. There is no need to work in a C series torque wrench before using it the first time. Nor is it necessary to adjust to the lowest torque setting after use. Setting the tool requires only fingertip force since the adjustment mechanism is not under load C4D600F

This torque wrench is a 4 piece unit, packed up nice & neat in a heavy built plastic case w/handle and actual metal clasps to keep it closed! Contents: 3/4” drive head, insert bar, main body, and handle/torque mechanism, instruction sheet, certification papers. Dial type torque wrench that doesn’t need to be brough back to zero before storage, marked in 10 lb increments. Geared head rachet is reversible, but user must turn main body 180* when changing direction of torque. Gear head can be used as a rachet alone with proper handle (not included) attached to loosen or tighten bolts, just not with the supplied torque handle and torque body parts. (That’s called stupidity when you use a torque wrench as a regular rachet). Heavy, well made, snug fitting parts. Nothing cheap or light weight about it. The Precision Instruments PREC4D600F is my go-to torque wrench for lug nuts on heavy-duty trucks. It’s built tough, and the 200–600 ft-lb range covers everything I need for wheel torque specs without breaking a sweat. What I really like is the split-beam design—there’s no need to reset it to zero after use, which saves time and keeps it ready to go. The click is easy to feel, even with gloves on, and the adjustment is smooth and fast. Once you set it, you know it’s accurate. It’s a big wrench, but it’s balanced well and doesn’t feel awkward to use, even when you’re reaching around duals or dealing with tight clearances. This wrench is rugged and works well. I was using for only 320 lb-ft max torque -- less than the 600 lb-ft max torque. It is very easy to adjust torque setting, and its nice to Not have to unscrew the adjustment back to 0 when done. Got it for tightening the lugs on my semi. Seems to work torquing my lugs to 450lb. It's not really designed to be constantly disassembled and stored in the case though, have to use a Philips head screwdriver to push in the pin to release the head.
