it works great for most seeds but not for small seed like carrots unless you keep enough seed in the hopper to avoid skipped areas. the beet seeds were to big for some plates and the bigger hole plates dropped to many seed.

    • Doesn't work well for sweet corn
Sweet corn discs were not consistent. The one that said sweet corn was too small to let the seeds fall in and even after I made the holed bigger it still didn't work very good. I tried the other seed plate disc that was for corn and beans...it worked ok if you kept the seed bin full and tipped the planter to the right, but then it would drop 3-4 seeds at a time instead of 1. The fertilizer part of it didn't work very well either...had to keep shaking it to make it come out, and then you ended up with too much or too little....no consistency. I didn't try any other seeds, as I mainly bought it for sweet corn. It may work fine for smaller seeds , but for corn. I wasn't impressed. ... show more

    • Need level garden bed
Soil needs to be perfectly level and finely tilled. Would not evenly spread seed and fertilizer on any uneven surfaces. Disappointed with results.

I tried to use my Precision GS2010 Garden Seeder' and it's useless it's a piece of crap it dumps a lot of seeds in one place and thin skips about a foot thin dumps more seeds it's the worst money I ever spent I'll never buy another one of anything with this brand it's junk and money throwed away.
