I don’t think the wheels are that bulky and they sure do come in handy as I pull the suitcase along without it tripping (barring any surface abnormalities or imperfections the wheels may encounter). This item is a nice, basic suitcase that can be used for long trips. It's a 28" hard sided suitcase, so it has lots of room. It has everything a basic suitcase should these days - 4 sturdy rollers, TSA approved lock with a combination you can set, telescopic handle for rolling. It's also lightweight. When opened, the bottom portion has a set of straps to hold clothes down, while the top has a flap with a mesh zippered pocket. My daughter took this suitcase on a recent trip with me, and it held up just fine. There were no issues. She likes the pink color. In comparison to other suitcases, this one is missing some features on higher end, more expensive suitcases. For instance, this item does not have an expansion zipper for additional room. Some suitcases also have a flap on the bottom portion of the suitcase when opened (an addition to the strap like this one) to hold clothes in place. I would recommend this suitcase if you're looking for basic, inexpensive luggage. It meets the minimums all suitcases purchased today should include without any extras.     • Hard shell suit cases are so much better than soft shell
I travel a lot for work and I'm usually looking for Speed getting in and out of the airports. That plus the fact that my trips are usually no more than 3 days means that I only take a carry-on bag. For years I've tried different bags from small gym bags to soft shell suitcases that fit in the overhead bins. This is the first time I've tried a hard shell suitcase and I will never go back. I ordered the Powforlife Carry On Suitcase on the advice of my wife after complaining that my shaving razor snapped at the neck and a small bottle of shampoo burst open. Those are just the latest things to break on me. Granted, the bag isn't checked but I'm very rough on luggage. I'll pick it up and throw it into the trunk of the rental car or pick it up and throw it onto the bag holder in the room. This suitcase has a hard plastic outer of shell that absorbs the impact and doesn't transmit it to the items inside. It's considered a 20 inch Class suitcase so it fits in the overhead bin on most flights. The actual measurements are 15.4x22.7x8.7 inch. I can pack for three or four days and still have room to spare. The internal compartments are very handy especially when opening the suitcase. The compartments don't allow the clothes in the one half of the bag that's facing down to fall out all over the place. The top compartment zippers fully closed and the bottom compartment has tension straps that go across the top of your clothes to hold them in place. The wheels are great and quiet just as advertised. The handle itself is sturdy and has three positions for ease of maneuvering. The bag doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart as you pull on it or push it around. Wheel it upright or wheel it behind you at an angle, it doesn't matter, it's sturdy. You could choose from white pink or black coloring. I chose the black bag just because it won't get dirty as fast as the other colors. Overall I am pleased with this suitcase and hope to get quite a few years use out of it. ... show more
