Took an chance as it wasn't in the the description but this happened to be a perfect fit on my Delta 22-555 planer. No modifications needed as screw holes lined up perfectly. Also, like the description says, the port can be mounted to either side of the machine. Only drawback is that the metal base can no longer fold up with the dust port installed.     • Bauer planer from harbor freight!
The 5 stars may be too soon as I have yet to try out the dust cover. But, I want everyone to k 9w that it fits the Bauer Planer sold by Harbor freight. I bought the planer secondhand without the cover and haven't been able to find any replacement parts other than blades. Upon looking at many planers with the same dimensions, I've realized that the powermatic and the bauer are pretty much identical. I'll post more updates to see if all parts are interchangeable in the future if anything breaks down. I just needed a dust cover at this time. ... show more

it has been quite a saga! first they sent the wrong item and when the right one arrived it was missing the the screws. However the customer service did an outstanding job in taking remedial action. Then I discovered that the port did not match my vacuum's hose and when I connected with an adaptor it clogged immediately. Finally I rushed to the closest Home Depot, bought the right vacuum,6.5 HP, and it works PERFECTLY. I am very happy now and my wife, who before had to help me to collect the huge mass of wood chips, even more ... show more

I highly recommend this item for the Powertec planer. It seems well built, attaches very easily with two screws (included) and has foam sealer to prevent leakage.

    • Will update after my setup has been tweaked to better suit the volume of shaving coming from this planer
Service was top notch. When screws we missing from the box, my seller immediately send them. This planer can shave quite a bit off at a time and my shop vac a little under powered leading to some clogs. I suspect this is an issue with my set up as this fits perfectly and does what it should.
