Description

Introducing the 4” Hose/ Pipe Hangers by POWERTEC. These economical fittings were designed to provide your dust collection hoses and clear pipes with a sturdy and secure mount. Made from hardened, yet flexible plastic, they conform to slight variations in size, snugly around your pipes or dust hoses to deliver firm mounting support. Each bracket is also equipped with a square flange with mounting holes that can be used with a collection box. These mounts are designed for 2 1/2 inch flex tubing. They work great, exactly like the description says, if you are purchasing these, please read the description, they won’t fit standard pvc and they won’t fit 4 inch tubing of any sort because they are designed for 2 1/2 inch tubing just like the description says. They are made of plastic and they do come with screws and drywall plugs. The screws are 1 inch screws because they are designed to be screwed into plywood walls, not directly into drywall, that’s why they also come with drywall plugs. If you actually read the description Before purchasing, you will find out all of this information. the product is Durable plastic, I just installed the product in my shop and they work and look great, just like the description says, if you read it, but you have to read the description. Don’t buy this product if you are trying to use it for anything bigger than 2 1/2 inch tubing because it won’t work for that size, because the product description says specifically 2 1/2 inches. It will work great for 2 1/2 inches but not anything bigger because it wasn’t designed for anything bigger, only 2 1/2 inches. Read the description before buying. They are nice and tight around the tubes, and keep them in place with barely a hint of play. Since I have collapsible plastic ducting, it's important to keep the sections that I have mounted on the ceiling stretched taught to have as free a flow as possible. I may be remembering incorrectly, but the screws are not self tapping. Not a big deal, just made it a bit more clumsy and difficult to get some of them started into my ceiling panels. So, if I would change anything it would be to include self tapping screws. But no loss of points for this. ... show more

Look at the picture. It is 3-1/4 inches at the widest part of the curve with the feet flat. To get this anywhere near 4 inches you have to bend it completely out of shape and it would not fit against the wall. Returning because it does not fit on the material it advertises. No way does this fit a 4" pipe or hose (without damaging both) I bet he tells his wife that is six inches. ... show more

A while back, I installed a duct for exhaust air for a large projector. This is an improvement to just running the duct along the ground to the window since it allows me to lift it out of the way of other cables and feet.

Size: 2-1/2-Inch
Use in my shop to run my 2 1/2" vacuum hoses for dust. I attach to ceiling with just one screw allowing my to clip in and out the vacuum hoses depending on where I'm using. No breaks. Seam durable.

I used these on 3" pvc that I needed slightly away from the wall. I do not think a 4" pvc would fit these as they were pretty tight.
