These clear plastic pipe sections are not the same size as ordinary PVC Pipe. So, if you are planning to fit a clear section into a run of regular PVC pipe, you will need to make some adjustments. This is high quality PVC pipe that is exactly as described. Be aware that this is NOT the same PVC pipe as you are going to find for plumbing at Home Depot and none of the normal fittings work with it. It's air duct piping and requires more specialized fittings and connectors. We however found that for our purposes, a few creative uses of PVC plumbing fittings from Home Depot did work, but we had to make custom "adapters" by cutting 4 inch plumbing PVC pipe to use as a sleeve around this pipe. ... show more

Works perfectly as described. Was easy to cut to length using a sharp blade on a miter saw. I also terminated it in a dust collector bag with a 4” opening and it fit perfectly.
