    • NOT Self Propelled!!

Overall, snow blower is good. It’s compact and easy to start. HOWEVER, it is not self propelled. You literally have to push this machine to get it moving. Used it on 12inch of snow and the machine was not cooperating with its maneuvering. Not recommended. This item is also not returnable!!!

I’ve had to use this 3 times this winter so far. Works really well. Starts really well. Prime, half choke, let it warm up, take the choke off….It doesn’t glide on dry pavement very well, so just tilt it back till you hit snow, then it works really well. Glad I bought it.

Pros. Blows a decent amount of snow. Cons. It has a major flaw in the controls. To turn this thing off you must pull a plastic pin out of the unit. This is just plain stupid. I did not really think that was what the manufacturer intended until it flew out and would not start. I had to tie a string on it so it would not get lost. The engine ran a little rough and was a little hard to start. The direction of the discharge chute is manual and semi difficult to change. The Height discharge control is beyond difficult. You must loosen 2 (two) plastic wing nuts and then make adjustments and retighten. Very time consuming and stupid. Try doing this with multiple passes up and down the driveway and sidewalk. I lost one of the wing nuts as I must not have tightened enough. If this lasts 2 seasons then I will be happy otherwise it will be a total waste of money. It is cheap and you get what you pay for. If the manufacturer makes some improvements then this just might be a good investment for the money. ... show more

purchased 12/23/23. 1st snow was a wet 2 ". I think it's the shovel plate catching on the concrete, making it hard to push. The rubber blade on my old Toro blower made it almost self propelled. This blower is useless to me at this point! I saw in the reviews someone else had the exact same issue and Amerisun fixed it. I waited on the support line through 9 callers, when It was my turn I was disconnected. I called back and continually got stuck in a loop. I need help now, expect 6 inches of snow this week end!! 1/13/24 I got a generic email. I sent all the info they requested and still nothing. It's going to be a real pain to return, but they leave me no choice. 1/19/24 I am convinced it is the shovel plate causing the problem. It is defect it in design. The support person said I should tilt it back, during operation. I think a skid plate on the sides would be much better, but what do I know. I am now waiting on a return label. ... show more
