  • I can’t kill it
Size: 1200 Watts
I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with this 1000w generator. I mean, I bought it for mobile detailing with the intent of upgrading later on. However, I never expected it to be the Nokia phone of generators. I've been beating the crap out of it for two years now and it just keeps going and going and going. I've used it with tools that far exceed its wattage rating, incorrectly mixed fuel, rarely let it warm up before putting maximum load on it, and I haven't serviced the air filter or spark plug once. And yet, it still runs like a top. Even in sub-freezing temperatures, it starts with only a few pulls. It frightens me. I’ve been intentionally trying to kill it, but every night it whispers threats to me in my dreams. It knows when I’m trying to overload it and instead psychologically terrorizes me to the point of sobbing and runs off my tears only to output the energy of the Sun and reliability of a Honda. I'm convinced this thing is indestructible. I'm thinking of putting wheels on it and entering it in a demolition derby just to win the coveted first place trophy desired by rednecks across the globe. Overall, I highly recommend this generator to anyone in need of a reliable and durable power source. Just don't expect to have the luxury of it having a lifetime shorter than yours. It's like the cockroach of generators. On a serious note, it has only had two problems: 1. The power supply wire came loose from vibration and wouldn’t supply power. It was a quick fix (5 minutes). 2. It leaked fuel between the tank and feed line. Again, it was just from all of the hours of harsh vibration. Just needed to take off the front panel and secure the line. This whole generator is very easy to work on in case anything goes wrong and uses universal parts. I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Feel good I have it
Size: 1200 Watts
Small. Easy to use. Just a few things to attach...took 15 minutes while on the phone. Order oil for the mix with it.

  • Early testing results
Size: 1200 Watts
This cost double what they were a couple of years ago, but still may be worth your purchase. I've only ran it for testing purposes so far. Here are my thoughts. * relatively light weight and small size (what I needed) * a bit louder than higher-end generators. Less noise than a lawn mower, but... * seems to run okay (but it is NOT broken in, yet. I think 5 hours is the break-in period) When I first got it, I took out the sparkplug and shot a little WD40 into the cylinder and gave the starter cord a few pulls to lubricate the cylinder. Added the fuel/oil mixture to the tank then put the ignition switch on and the choke on "start". Gave it a few more pulls to get the fuel into the bowl, then tried to start it. Took 7 pulls to start and ran really rough (as expected). I moved the choke to 1/2 off and let it run another 15 seconds, then slowly moved the choke to "Run". While idling, the rpm's weren't steady at all. I had heard that you may need to adjust the idle screw (which you can see near the pull-start handle, but don't know how you get at it to adjust. Anyway, it settled down, mostly. After letting it idle for about 5 minutes, I ran a 10 watt load just to test the AC power. I then ran a 600 watt load (I couldn't find anything smaller). The motor sags, at first, then revved up to handle the load. I ran it for about 8 minutes, then turned off the load and shut off the fuel. It ran for another minute then quit. I ran the same test today, using my digital watt/voltage/amp meter. Ran the same load as before. Running a 600 watts/5 amps vacuum cleaner, it seemed to run just okay. It was almost, but not quite a steady idle. The voltage fluctuated between 118 and 124 mostly. Near the very beginning, it was really hunting and was between 110 and 130 volts but settled down after a couple of minutes. I'm taking it out for an extended trip, so I hope to get some more experience with it and will update in the future. Cheers! ... show more

  • Above and beyond for the price
Size: 1200 Watts
Picked this up on sale not expecting much. It ran incredibly well and generated plenty of power. The first hour the wattage would fluctuate but it smoothed out. The maximum rated running watts is 1000, but I plugged a 1500 watt heater into it at full power and it powered it like a champ. Great buy

  • Great value for what you pay
Size: 1200 Watts
This little guy is perfect! It’s a bit loud, but what do you expect from a 2 stroke? I thought it was gonna be louder though, so I was pretty happy. Very simple to use, and if you are thinking of dipping your toes in the generator world, this isn’t a bad one to start with. Runs my fridge perfectly fine. ... show more

  • More pictures or more diverse pictures that include every side of the machine.
Size: 1200 Watts
I write this as I am testing it out. So for so good. Looked like the picture, started up on the 2cnd or 3rd pull. Several people mentioned the noise in their reviews but it's not that bad. I have used weed eaters, leaf blowers, and lawnmowers that were more noisy than this. I live in my truck and bought this so I wouldn't have to Idle so much, all I have to do to block most of the noise is put it behind my truck while i sit in the cab and if I still want less noise i close the window. Their is one tiny issue that kind of irked me. It has a 12v charging plug. But none of the pictures show it. So I thought that it just didn't have one. But it does, they just don't show it, which is bad because if I had seen what the plug in question looked like, I would have bought different accessories. So include more pictures guys. ... show more
