This was God sent for firewood season! Our neighbor cleared some land to build a shop and gave us all the hardwoods from it! This little splitter was a workhorse! We are in our late 60’s and couldn’t have done without it. Fast and efficient! Trick: put a solid block of wood behind shorter logs to cause it to split all the way through. It’s a little heavy even with the wheels ( which are too small and not made for rolling in woods/thick leaves. We put bigger, sturdier wheels on it and it’s perfect!)

Only worked for about a dozen logs. Then it stopped. Only hums now. Absolutely no help from customer service and the two year warranty is a joke. You are told to mail the splitter back to them WITH return postage for them to mail it back to you. Then they’ll fix the problem IF they determine that it’s their fault. I couldn’t find any local repair shops that would fix it either. I was told by one local repair shop that they consider these “throwaways”. So you’re better off just buying a new one since two-way postage for a 100 lb+ splitter costs more than the value of the splitter.

Really powerful, works well

Very capable and durable log splitter

This is a very capable and doable and safe log splitter perfect I absolutely love it and I was very skeptical at first I have owned it now for 3 weeks and I put at least a cord of Doug fir and White cedar large rounds through this splitter and it has been amazing would recommend this log splitter to anybody who is financially stretched and need something within their price range this fits the bill

So unreliable

The electric motor of this wood splitter stopped working after a few hours of work. One can hear the engine hum but the motor did not turn.

Pretty good.

Saves a ton of time on splitting logs that are hard to split like oak logs. Have not had much problems with it HOWEVER read the directions before using please as you can damage the hydraulic system if not used correctly as i almost made that mistake by using it without loosening the bleed screw which must be loosened during use. I also filled it with automatic trans fluid for freezing temps. It does take alot of fluid to function properly so dont be scared to fill it as the dipstick was showing filled but it still needed fluid to function properly. overall good value for money. Seems durable however this is my first year with it. It is heavy however its easy to move with the handles and wheels. overall not a bad product to start splitting wood with.

New favorite toy

I was worried about purchasing an electric log splitter, but I worried for no reason. I love this splitter. It has plenty of power and zips right through the logs. I’ve used it through the winter for firewood and continue to split “Helene” trees and this machine just keeps on going. I’ve had no leaks or issues at all. Would definitely recommend.
