  • There is NO gas and NO oil to mess with. J
Size: 24" - 80V
Where has this been all my life. This is so great! Handles snow removal better then gas. Don't have to worry about making sure the gas is completely out of the engine, cause there isn't any. This is truely a great find!!! Has a lot of power and doesn't fail. Starts all the time. You don't have to pull cord or anything. Love the LED lights too. It will run a long time on just one charge. I have a 6 car driveway, and keeps running. Really throws the snow a great distant and you don't have to turn the shoot or snow diverter either. Its done by the levers on the operator control panel. I tell everyone to buy the Powersmart battery operated and Self Propelled. You wont be sorry getting this. ... show more

  • Great during the snow storms.
Size: 21" - single stage
Was easy to assemble but was missing the nuts to the bolts and had to purchase at Home Depot. Other than that it's a great and easy snow blower

  • 80 volt 24 inch snowblower
Size: 24" - 80V
Went together easy. Instructions are not good. Then tested the operation worked well and then electrical fault code light. Found nothing about it on line. So started at the battery. Battery was not seated properly reset the battery and everything worked fine. Takes a bit to get use to. When you squeeze the run switch the run delays, but once it starts its runs great. We have 4 chances of snow this week I'll report back after I run it in the snow. ... show more

  • Perfect Snowblower for Decks and Smooth Surfaces
I've only used this snowblower several times, not a long term review. I own a larger two stage snowblower as my main device. This is absolutely the best deck snowblower. Other reviews stated that it doesn't work well on uneven surfaces, but on a deck surface it's amazing. Cleans right down to the decking. I've had to remove some deck screws that were sticking up. I purchased this specifically for my large deck. At the end of the season I generally have large piles of snow around the edges of the deck from pushing snow off. I'm hoping this throws the snow off the deck where I can blow it away with my other blower. Seems powerful enough so far. Easy to use, assemble, and manipulate. It's pretty light. If you have very uneven surfaces this would not be the best device for you. For what I bought it for, it's perfect. ... show more

  • One of the best cordless units out there, but needs some refinement
Size: 24" - 80V
I have had the unit for just over 5 weeks now and have only used it 3 or 4 days for a total of maybe 6 runs. It does great with light snow but does struggle a bit with more dense snow. Even if the snow is half height of the intake funnel, if its dense then it's going to have a hard time, so for the dense stuff you want to reduce the width of the path you make. Annoying quirks: -The automatic shutoff of 5sec is annoyingly short, so when I am turning the unit around, and let go of the auger/drive I end up having to often go through the power up cycle again. The timer needs to be longer. 30 seconds would be a more reasonable time limit. -The drive will not function when in reverse and the auger switch is activated, which is confusing and can cause you to think the unit isn't operating and it also makes it more difficult to operate when you need to go in reverse because if you don't do the sequence correctly, you'll end up canceling out the commands/activate a fault and as you try to do the correct sequence, the 5 sec aoutomatic shut off kicks in and you have to restart it. -The chute mechanism has a rotation of roughly +/- 85deg and cannot be aimed slightly backwards which would be very useful in areas where you need to direct the snow behind you a bit -The drive activation is a on/off type lever and the speed and direction are on a separate adjustable lever which makes it difficult to quickly change the direction of the unit in the way you need to while blowing snow. Ideally, the forward and reverse drive should be on the same rocker lever and with the speed separate to allow more natural driving -The battery has a built in LED so you can use it as a flashlight (not sure why this was added, but ok...) but the problem is that if you accidentally bump the switch on the battery while you are putting the battery in the blower, the light activates and then the blower has problems runnning. The first time this happened it took me 15min to figure out why the blower kept faulting on me. I guess the power draw of the LED is too much... The placement of the battery button and the fact it is also the battery level check button doesn't help either as when I put the battery in the unit with big mittens, I accidentally bump the button 40% of the time. -The unit is pretty light for a snowblower which is great if you need to push it around unassisted, but the lack of weight and large frontal area makes it difficult for it to get traction when there is a lot of snow it needs to plow through. I may need to add some weights to the back to give it more traction Now The Bad: I have found that the drive system uses a plastic gear on the drive shaft that is driven off of a metal gear on the motor side and in the handfull of times I've used the unit, it has broken a tooth on the plastic gear so the drive system now has problems. I am trying to get in contact with the manufacturer to get the part replaced, but so far have had trouble getting in contact with them. Given the duty of the drive system, this gear really needs to be made from metal because in the few short times I used the unit and in the manner it was used in, there should have been no reason that a tooth broke from that. ... show more

  • This thing is worth it's weight in gold!
Last winter my fiance and I got a late start on getting a snowblower, and as I had surgery in September on a knee shoveling was not going to be an easy chore in Wisconsin winter. Everywhere local was sold out. As we don't have a lot of property we weren't bothered by it being electric. Easy to esemble, only needing to attach the handle and top blower positioning. And was good for last winter A year later it's still kicking! We did not expect that. Throws snow a great distance, hitting a little bit of ice chunks doesn't bother it. As it doesn't have a deep thrower, we do have to sometimes give it a pre-blowing part way through a lot of snow but for the cost we couldn't have gotten a better product! Definitely recommend! ... show more
