No. This lawn mower is a basic mower features a side discharge function instead of a traditional bag attachment. What type of fuel and engine oil does it use? Please use fresh (purchased within 30 days), 87-octane unleaded gasoline. Do not use gasoline with more than 10% ethanol (E10) by volume. Do not use gasoline containing methanol. The recommended engine oil is 10W-30. And oil is not included. Why won't my mower restart after I just turned it off? If the engine is still warm, do not press the primer bulb before restarting. Additional priming may flood the engine and make restarting more difficult. Simply hold the safety bar and pull the starter rope. What type of grass does it work best on? I was looking for a small and lightweight mower, it’s perfectly I need. My old mower was so big and heavy that mowing the lawn was a real struggle. This lawnmower awesome. It easy to assemble. It’s gas powered so no electric cord . The chute on the side exhausted the clippings as expected. I appreciate the height adjustment on the wheels. It’s not a hard vibration so your hands don’t mind so much. It’s lightweight and easy to handle when moving. It’s worked very well and surprisingly uses very little gas . Very lightweight and compact. It literally took just 10 minutes to assemble. Easy start...started up on the very first pull. My only issue was that it did not come with a starter container of oil like all my mowers in the past had. So, I had to run to the store to get one before I could use the mower. Very nice lawnmower. I have a very small section of grass to mow and it's the perfect size. Seems like it is good quality mower. Power Smart brand and I have a generator made by them and it works great also. I recommend this mower. I'd buy it again for sure. Easy assembly.

Of note: I chose the 144-cc engine over the Briggs and Stratton version, because I wanted more power for mulching. I would have preferred using the Briggs and Stratton engine, since that's all I've ever owned, but the power was not as high as the other option. So far, this has been the right choice. It remains to be seen over the years if it will last as long as a B&S. What I Liked: I've used this mower now for 4 mowings of my lawn. It has performed well and I'm quite satisfied. It was very easy to put together and the instructions were clear. It feel light, starts easily, and the engine is not nearly as loud as my previous mower. It mulches well and I very much like the one lever that adjusts the mowing height on all four wheels at once! What I didn't Like: Like many mowers of its kind, you have to prime the engine prior to starting it. The primer "button/bulb" is made of a stiff, rubber-like material. Because of its stiffness, you have to push it very quickly to get any gas flowing into the carburetor. You can feel it when it's working (and when it's not). So priming the engine takes about 5 or 6 pushes to get enough gas in there to start the engine easily. Hopefully, this button will soften up over time and priming will be easier. This is a minor annoyance and not a real problem. Unlike many mowers of its kind, this mower has a rubber "skirt" fastened to the back of the deck. I imagine this exists to protect you from flying debris should you run over something that could potentially fly out the back. A nice idea, but poorly designed. This flap tends to slide under the mower when you pull it back toward you. Mine got under there AND detached from one side of the deck and then got caught in the blade, which promptly chewed it up. So no more "skirt" for me (see photos). But - I really don't care, because none of my other mowers have ever had such a thing and I highly doubt anything will ever hit me flying out the back. If it does, I'll come back here and let you know. This cost them one star on this review. The bottom line: This is a quality mower at a good price. It works well, except for the rubber "skirt", and is a good replacement for my previous mower. I recommend! ... show more

I don’t have a very big lawn this is perfect for me. Used it a couple times starts right up motor seems to have plenty of power. Lightweight to push, side discharges exactly what I need at a great cost.

I bought this nice smaller and lighter push mower for doing small ditches and difficult areas that you can’t get with a riding mower. And it is spot on! Also, the wife likes it much better when she does some of the mowing around the trees and such. So far it starts right off the bat every time and has worked pretty good here the last couple days! ... show more

I'm very impressed by this machine. For the price, it works amazingly well. Arrived 90% put together. Starts easily and instantly. Cuts damp 6" grass no problem. Cuts nice and even. I'm older and I appreciate also that it's easy to push. Definitely would buy again!
