So far, this is an excellent mower. Started on the first pull after putting the oil and gas in. Oil included in the exact amount needed, with a funnel included, a very thoughtful touch. Mower comes completely assembled except for the handle needing expanded. This lawnmower starts very easy and the height adjustment is very easy for all 4 wheels with the single lever adjuster. Thats the good side. On the bad side, the nuts and bolts on the handle must be constantly tightened or they fall off and get lost. The rubber that hangs at the back of the machine to prevent dust blowing in the face of the operator is d So cheep and flimsy it was destroyed after 3 times using the mower. I had to use tie wraps and wire to hold it in place to be able to use it. The mulshing chute was the same issue. Anything made of rubber breaks after a few uses.. contacting the seller is useless as they dont seem to have any replacement parts. Sent them the part numbers and names from the manual and got no response. This product has more negatives than positives to be recommended. ... show more

Of note: I chose the 144-cc engine over the Briggs and Stratton version, because I wanted more power for mulching. I would have preferred using the Briggs and Stratton engine, since that's all I've ever owned, but the power was not as high as the other option. So far, this has been the right choice. It remains to be seen over the years if it will last as long as a B&S. What I Liked: I've used this mower now for 4 mowings of my lawn. It has performed well and I'm quite satisfied. It was very easy to put together and the instructions were clear. It feel light, starts easily, and the engine is not nearly as loud as my previous mower. It mulches well and I very much like the one lever that adjusts the mowing height on all four wheels at once! What I didn't Like: Like many mowers of its kind, you have to prime the engine prior to starting it. The primer "button/bulb" is made of a stiff, rubber-like material. Because of its stiffness, you have to push it very quickly to get any gas flowing into the carburetor. You can feel it when it's working (and when it's not). So priming the engine takes about 5 or 6 pushes to get enough gas in there to start the engine easily. Hopefully, this button will soften up over time and priming will be easier. This is a minor annoyance and not a real problem. Unlike many mowers of its kind, this mower has a rubber "skirt" fastened to the back of the deck. I imagine this exists to protect you from flying debris should you run over something that could potentially fly out the back. A nice idea, but poorly designed. This flap tends to slide under the mower when you pull it back toward you. Mine got under there AND detached from one side of the deck and then got caught in the blade, which promptly chewed it up. So no more "skirt" for me (see photos). But - I really don't care, because none of my other mowers have ever had such a thing and I highly doubt anything will ever hit me flying out the back. If it does, I'll come back here and let you know. This cost them one star on this review. The bottom line: This is a quality mower at a good price. It works well, except for the rubber "skirt", and is a good replacement for my previous mower. I recommend! ... show more

Great mower for the price. This mower seems to be good quality. Assembly was super easy you just have to put together the top bars, add oil & gas. I have had zero issues and have mowed our yard 3 times. Shipping was fast also!

I’ve never had a better mower than this Power Smart Easy cut 21 inch push mower. Out of the box, unfold the push bar gas and oil and I was set to mow. I use this for my uneven and heavy weeded 4 acre yard. Light weight, cuts perfectly, even through pine cones, incredibly durable and it actually looks great! Easy to change height via levers at the wheels. The grass somehow doesn’t build up on the underside like my other mowers (not PowerSmart) did. I used it to mow 2 xs a week 4 acres of my grass and an acre of my neighbors yard from March of 2025 until November 2025. I did put StaBil in it over winter with proper cover but still outside. I took it out of hibernation on March 12, 2026 and it started immediately and have mowed 6 times since then. I do need a new blade because I did nick the edge of an unseen rock. But hey with this kind of quality I do Not mind replacing the blade yearly, I consider it simply maintenance. It makes mowing actually fun! Thank you. ... show more

I bought this mower for my small yard and so far I’m very happy with it. It was easy to assemble, started quickly, and cuts grass evenly. The mower is lightweight so it’s easy to push and move around the yard. The height adjustment is simple to use and the engine has enough power for regular lawn care. I also like that it doesn’t take up too much space in the garage. Overall, this is a good value for the price and works well for basic home use.
