  • Work just as Good as Canon
These work the same if not better then the originals and are a lot cheaper. These are a no-brainer.

  • Works great in my Canon D50
These hold a good charge and work in my camera. What ore could you want from a battery? Charge status show up in camera unlike last generic I bought.

  • My two new batteries...
The batteries arrived in great condition. They truly are a great replacement for an original Canon battery in regards of cost. A Canon battery is priced at $57. I can get 6 batteries from Powerextra for about the same price so do the math. Now since I have gotten a new camera, a Canon 5D MK IV, I have noticed that Canon has become more aggressive in not allowing 3rd party manufacturers to work as expected in the camera. What Canon has done is that it has not definitely allowed 3rd party batteries to be used in the camera. The camera can sense if the battery is not an original Canon battery. I think it must have some chip in it. That being said the camera will ask you if it is a Canon battery or if it is not. If you answer it is not then a warning will come up saying that Canon is not responsible for any damage done to the camera due to use of a non Canon battery. The camera monitors the rechargeability of a Canon battery. It indicated to me that my LP-E6, which was the first battery I used on my Canon 60D was not retaining its charge anymore. That kind of makes sense because I have been using that batter for 12 years now. So if you are using a 3rd party battery the 5D will not give you that information. So I think the cost savings trump the information provided to you by the battery. I have in the years I used 3rd party batteries have never had damage to my camera. I make sure I read the reviews and go with a brand I know. Powerextra is one of those brands. I highly recommend their batteries. ... show more

  • Extra Use
Only had one battery and didn't like having to wait around when I wanted to take pictures or film something, so I looked around and found these. I was looking for as high capacity as I could so without knowing the more intricate specifics I assume this is likely a design max, but with all that said they have been working well so far. Slots in as expected both in my canon body and the canon charger I have, also just nice to have that extra security when I am out away from any chargers or outlets that I won't have to quit shooting early. ... show more

  • 1 of the 1 battery won't fully charge after 19 hours and did not seem to hold the juice
Received the 2 pack battery on time, put the first one in my Canon charger from 4PM till 9AM next day, the red light was still blinking rapidly, no green light, not sure if the battery is fully charged? Could not find anything inside the shipping container about whether it should turn into green light or how to tell if the battery is fully charged, and I was worried if it may be fire hazard by charging it over 19 hours? so I removed it from the charger and put it in my Canon 6D camera, it show only 3 of the 4 bars in my Camera viewer. I took a photo with the new battery and left it in the camera but our the camera off. I also put the second battery in my Canon charger, checked ~ 5 hours later, the second battery show green light, which did not happen to the first battery. Later in the same evening, I checked the battery level in my camera, the first battery dropped from 3 bars to 2 bars just after one photo was taken and left in my camera for several hours. I put the second battery into my Canon, saw 4 bars which indicates the second was fully charged. So 1 of the 2 batteries is definitely defective, which is not good. I plan to test the fully charged second battery in few days to see how many photos that fully charged battery can take before I decide whether to return this package for exchange or for refund. ***Edit This company sent me a replacement battery for my defect one, this new one did not have same problem. I tested the new one during my recent road trip and it works fine. so I am revising my rating to reflect their good service. I will try to test the other battery in the near future but I assume it is good. ... show more

  • Great price

  • Good Budget batteries
The first thing I noticed when I received these was that they took a long time to charge up. That's usually a good thing. It's usually a good indicator of battery capacity. These batteries seem to perform as well as the Canon OEM battery. Even shooting video does not seem to adversely affect them or cause them to overheat as some batteries do during extended video. I wish I could say more. but I don't know what else to say. Capacity and function seem on par with the Canon OEM battery at a much lower price point. If anything changes, I'll update the review. ... show more
