  • Best Value 1080p and 1440p Graphics Card
Style: 6750 XT Fighter
Now at a lower cost and only using 200W of power, this graphics card is one of the best options for the value it provides. Not only is the card small and compact and can fit in a large range of cases, but it only uses a modest amount of power that most power supplies can provide without issue. The drivers for the card are very easy to install and the AMD software makes it easy to adjust a wide range of settings to get the most out of the GPU. The GPU itself has easily handled most newer titles at both 1080p and 1440p without issue. The card itself is not quite as powerful at ray tracing, so I do recommend leaving this setting off. However, for my use, I had this paired with a Ryzen 7 5700X and 32GB of 3600Mhz DDR4 RAM with a 1440p display and I was able to get substantially good frame rates most of the time. In GTA V, I was able to get an average of 110-130 FPS at Very High Settings most of the time. In Cyberpunk, with FSR enabled and set to Quality, I was getting between 85-95 FPS most of the time with optimized settings and no ray tracing. In Horizon: Forbidden West, which is more recent, I was able to use optimized settings in combination with FSR to achieve an average frame rate of 90-100 FPS. Alan Wake 2, which is significantly more demanding, was still able to achieve an average of 65-70 FPS with optimized settings. Any older game will play the game like it's nothing and easily give you a 100-200 FPS experience most of the time whether you are playing at 1080p or 1440p as long as you leave Ray Tracing disabled. The card's 12GB of VRAM also makes it run well in even the most intensive and demanding use cases. However, that isn't all. This card now also supports AMD's Fluid Motion Frames technology, which on a driver level can still artificially generate additional frames to give you a smoother gameplay experience in most titles. The frame gen tech works really well, but fast turning motions can cause it to drop to your normal FPS before it figures out what is on the screen and starts generating new frames again. Additionally, when paired with Anti-Lag, the added input latency isn't much of a deal breaker, and leaving Frame Gen on, for some titles such as Alan Wake 2, can give you a significantly smoother and more enjoyable experience. The card itself also runs cool most of the time, and I have never seen it pass 65 degrees. Overall, this card is an absolute champ that has some of the new features just coming to market while still delivering a 60FPS+ experience in almost every title that exists. I highly recommend it! ... show more

  • Nice video card, can'r beat it for the price.
Style: 240 2gb
I was looking for a simple way to get two monitors up on a desktop rebuild to pickup Windows 11 support, without breaking the bank. The new system uses an ASRock H470M M/B and a 10th gen i5-10400 CPU. ( Lesson . . . get the -HDV M/B instead of -HVS, as it directly supports 2 new tech displays ). I decided to drop in this video card to fill the need; I'm very pleased with it. Can't beat the price. It's whisper quiet, and provides nice clean displays. I'm not a big gamer, but will test it out streaming video, etc. and may post more later. ADVICE! Be aware there are Windows Defender "Memory Integrity" security settings in Win 11 that must be disabled for the AMD driver to successfully install and drive dual monitors. A bit of short term panic till that got figured out. So that particular security check is now off; I'll check back at the AMD site to see when a driver clean-up update for this is available. ... show more

  • Best Price to Performance currently in the US
Style: 6650XT Fighter
The price for this GPU is great, even cheaper than the cheapest 6600xt currently, but it does show. As soon as I opened it up, I could tell the build quality is cheaper than even XFX GPUs; the cooling system and shroud doesn't exceed the PCB, so the cooling isn't the best, thermal throttles a little bit even at 100% fan usage. There's no plastic shroud covering the bottom of the PCB (the side that faces up when installed), which affects aesthetics, but also made it feel a little more sketchy when installing it... And the metal bracket to mount onto the case is thinner than most others. I could feel the right-angle flex a little when holding it, and it sags a little bit more than my last GPU despite being lighter and not as long. The fans can get a little noisy since they have to run faster to make up for the smaller heatsink, but the sound level at 100% isn't as loud as some other GPUs, and the tone of the noise isn't as harsh as my old one either. It didn't come with a PCIe guard to protect the pins while it's not installed, and it didn't come with covers for the HDMI or DisplayPort ports. Also, keep in mind that it uses PCIe x8 gen 4. which give the same performance as PCIe x16 gen 3, but if your motherboard is PCIe gen 3, it will run it as PCIe x8 gen 3, halving the throughput to the motherboard... which will effect performance by about 10% depending on the game. Though I've only had it installed a few hours, so we'll have to see how it goes in the future. ... show more
