This works perfectly so I don’t have to worry about batteries anymore or charging. The cord is plenty long to reach where I sit. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the analog sticks seem a tad bulky or tall. When playing games where I quickly have to go from pressing the abxy buttons and then to the right analog stick, it’s a longer timing than I’d prefer. Got it on sale and it works ok. The analog stick feels really tall and bulky, almost twice as big as the button on joycon so it'd take some time to get use to. Don't recommend getting this if you're going to play BOTW because the analog stick is just as difficult to press down.

After using the controller for a month or 2 the paint on the (A) button started to wear down and the button began to get stuck inside the controller. After some inspection the button would get stuck because of the button’s deformed shape after the paint rubbed off of it. After this continued, one day I pushed the button and it went completely inside the controller. I had to disassemble the controller to see what happened, and upon doing so I found that the problem was that part of the button membrane that was covering the (A) button broke. Button membrane (silicone thing that makes buttons bounce back up after pressing them). Summary: relentless wearing of the paint on the (A) button caused the button to constantly get jammed and eventually the controller met its downfall when the button membrane broke making the (A) button useless. ... show more

For the money it is not bad. The right thumbstick sticks and won't unstuck unless you unplug it. Also the buttons frequently don't read and you have to press multiple times.
