This holder has an incredibly cute design, and I prefer it over the original joy con holder that comes with the switch due to them more snug fit and rubber back grips as opposed to the plastic ones. The rubber ones are much more comfortable if you sweat a lot in your hands

This replacement grip for the joycons works flawlessly. The build is solid, the ergonomics are much more thought out than the original, and it comes in a variety of colors. The Pikachu themed one looks great with white joycons!

This Comfort grip both looks better and feels better than the Comfort Grip that was included with our AC edition Switch. This Comfort Grip has a slight texture grip that feels much nicer in your hands compared to the smooth plastic Comfort Grip that comes with the system. I was wary of buying one of these because people complained for each design that there was a lot of resistance on the plastic track for the (Left) Joycon controller, citing concerns of damage to the Joycon. BUT, I'm glad I bought one because we've had no concerns with ours :) The joycons pictured are third-party and we do have *minimal* resistance when assembling and disassembling them in the grip (more so with disassembling), whereas my Nintendo Joycons have zero resistance in and out (smooth as butter, but still fit and lock snug). Keep in mind that there *is* some resistance when using Nintendo Joycons with a Nintendo comfort-grip, too, so 💁🏼♀️ it's all normal. The Nintendo Joycons being smooth as butter in a PowerA grip are what's abnormal. Lol We've also had no problem pairing through the grip. It works completely as expected. I plan to buy another design in the near future. I'll update if anything changes through normal use. ... show more
