  • Best pro controller I’ve used
I use this controller mostly for Splatoon 3, and it’s the best I’ve ever used. - It’s very light so it feels nice to hold and use. - The back buttons are very helpful. They’re easily accessible but not to a point where I’m accidentally pressing them. They’re also very easy to program. - The buttons & sticks feel really good to use. None of the buttons are indented in the way some of the original Switch pro controller are so they’re very easy to press. EDIT: Left stick drifts really badly despite regularly cleaning it & factory resetting. The stick seems to have actually become dislodged or something. EDIT 2: I got a replacement covered by warranty, very quick and easy. Works wonderfully. ... show more

  • Awesome but if you care about drift then okay
This controller is epic for the price. Totally worth getting it over Nintendo's own switch pro controller. Reading other people's reviews made this controller seem not as nice, but that's really only if drift affects you. For me, playing animal crossing new horizons, this controller is perfect. And the drift happens rarely (it happened first thing outta the box). However, drift really isn't that big of a deal in my mind, but if it's important to you then good luck finding a controller with no drift because this just seems to be a common problem with controllers. I would totally buy the other variants of this controller. It's awesome! It paired easily through Bluetooth with my laptop which is a plus for me. ... show more

  • Great graphics, clean controller overall, best in price for wireless as well.
This controller is superb! I don’t mind the coloring as it is $20 cheaper than the rest of the popular graphics but this model has built in li-ion battery and a long charging cable. I only charge this bad boy like 1-2 a week and play heavily on my switch daily. I have not noticed any drifting of the joysticks and the buttons click very nice. Super quick reaction time so brawler games like Super Smash are amazing with this controller. I play heavily on CarX Online and the No Drifting on the joysticks really helps to keep my car stable. All in all, a great 3rd party option instead of the pricier Pro Controller from Nintendo. Also I trust PowerA as they have been in the controller business for a while now. 👍🏽👍🏽 ... show more

  • Revised review: Input Lag is a major issue but the real problem is the Switch itself....
Original Review below in quotes, followed by more thoughts: "Here we go. Tried to save a few dollars by buying a licensed controller for my kid instead of another Switch Pro and the piece of trash has input lag. Go figure. I submitted a request to Power A and I'm assuming they'll send a refurb if they do anything. If they don't have a real fix for me then I'm returning this garbage." Okay that's the reaction I had the day the controller arrived and had noticeable input lag on Fortnite, which was what my son mostly played. That's still a problem to where he quit playing the game, not that I mind, but he enjoyed playing it on Switch. But he continued to use the controller for Animal Crossing and Civ 6 and it seems to be working okay for those games. So maybe the problem was software related? I don't know because this controller began having a drift issue within a week. When connected to the Switch via bluetooth it would act as if an up input was being held to where no other inputs worked. Except it couldn't be the controller because I tried it plugging it into my PC and it worked without drift. Then my pro controller had the same issue with drift, exactly the same issue of the up input being held. Almost as if any bluetooth controller would encounter the same problem. Unpairing and pairing multiple times can result in a controller working but hopefully fate will be kind to you if you put the system to sleep and want to play without pairing a controller 5x just to get it to work. Meanwhile the joycons are wacked out and unusable unless you pair just one of them. I believe joycon drift and other issues are due to faulty radio hardware in the Switch. So imo anyone who reviewed this product and mentioned drift, will probably have the same problem with any other controller. So I've revised a 1 star review to a 4 star review. The issue of input lag on any game is a major problem but I also never got a response from Power A when I submitted a warranty claim which is not surprising. One other thing is that this controller is very lightweight. Maybe I'm used to the heft of the switch pro controller but this thing is like holding a magazine compared to a hardcover novel. That's probably due to there being no rumble function since motors are heavy but that also adds to battery life because there are no motors to power. ... show more

  • There is no option to contact the seller about this problem.
The power cord doesn’t work. I had to use a power cord from other controllers that I have. Refer to the picture above. UPDATE: Amazon was quick to replace the item but found out it was not the cord at all. It was the electrical plug in that I was using. With that being said, I will keep the replacement also and pay for it. Thank you Amazon. ... show more

  • Cheaper and Better
The "Tom Nook" version was $10 cheaper, so I got that one. It functions very well. I love the layout of the buttons on the front. The feel of the controller is perfect. The motion controls work well. I have not noticed that the rumble works, but that's not I care about anyways. I'm happy that the back buttons do not need to be programmed, because I would not use those at all. I have had no joy-con drift with it so far. ... show more

  • I bought this for 30 bucks!
I bought this for 30 bucks. The animal crossing design is so-so, but I bought this for 30 bucks. The sticks and buttons feel great for 30 bucks. The programmable buttons were unexpected for 30 bucks. Gameplay was smooth and great for a controller I bought for 30 bucks. Long charging cable and integrated battery for 30 hour gameplay sessions, great for 30 bucks. It has motion support, which is great for a controller that costs 30 bucks. It doesn't have rumble, but then again, it was only 30 bucks. Best controller for 30 bucks P.S.: Did I mention I bought this for 30 bucks? ... show more
