    • Great for PC gaming!
I bought this to use as an alternative to the switch pro controller actually and it's pretty good! My usual controller was having problems staying connected to my PC (something about it, despite being hooked up with a cable, "searching" for a Switch or whatever constantly. it's super annoying.), so I got this strictly wired controller to get around that.. And it was the perfect solution! I don't have any issues with input delay and the joysticks move around smoothly. I also like that the buttons stick out a little more than the ones on pro controllers. Some might say it adds to a cheap, clunky feel but, personally, I like it..? Especially since it weighs so light in my hands I need something else to sort of function as the "yes you are indeed holding something" thing. My only "complaint" is that it is a LOT lighter than the pro controller, so if that sort of tactile thing matters for you to know, well, yeah. Otherwise, it's doing exactly what I need it to do. Great price for wire controller and came in original unopened box with no damages. The animal crossing controller must be plugged in to the dock to use. Also yes the controller looks just like the picture and works perfectly fine thus far. I have the Nintendo switch controller pro and in comparison between the two it’s definitely a lot lighter. It matches the animal crossing case, animal crossing switch , and goes well all together. I had some doubts as I read reviews that it has the drift con issue as I hope I won’t have that problem. I would recommend this controller to a friend which I already have! ... show more

Super cute controller. Weight and handling were just as expected, working as well as any other controller. The bonus to this controller is the theme went perfectly with the Animal Crossing genre my daughter was creating in get gaming area.

    • Lightweight and adorable
This controller is adorable and works great, I bought it as a gift for my animal crossing obssessed sister and she flipped. My only issue with it is it's so light it feels like one drop and it'll break, it's near hollow. But it was a great purchase and I'm glad I got it.

This is the ONLY design that actually caught my eye when I was choosing between the controllers. Not only does it match my Animal Crossing switch, but it much more comfortable than the joycons 😭 I’m just a little disappointed that it’s not wireless, but the cable is the perfect length for when I need to sit down on my bed and play in front of the tv!!!! Oh how I WISH this pro controller was wireless. As a big Animal Crossing fan, this controller was a must-have. The only downside of this pro controller I’ve noticed so far is that you cannot wake up your Switch while it’s docked by pressing the home button. Other than that, it’s a fantastic controller! The buttons and the joysticks feel great! Would definitely recommend this pro controller for any Animal Crossing fan if you don’t mind that it’s wired. ... show more

    • Defective decals, Audio quality reducing jack, Unresponsive to Warranty Claims
This review has been updated after more than a year of use. from 4 stars to 1. I love that it is wired and bought it specifically because of that, plus the added headphone jack is an even bigger plus (well it was until I realized that it reduces the audio quality of nicer headphones, if you had bass before it will be flat while you use the jack.) The fact that the cord is so long, and the color of it and the cable management strap all match, is just lovely!!! About the quality, The plastic feels very light (cheaper) compared to my Nintendo Official Brand controllers and my Animal Crossing controller by PDP's Rock Candy. This Power A did arrive with a minor scuff/crack in some decals too and I heard other people say the same. (In less than a year nearly all of the character face decals on this controller developed cracks not due to use or care which is a sign of inferior decal material or application process. The decals are fine on all other brands of controllers I own. Gladly it's still working unlike the Red/Gold Mario version which I purchased soon after this one, and hardly used at all which has left stick drift like so many others have said. Since these controllers are purchased for their look as well as function it's a big deal that either the designs or the functions are defective for so many customers. How about the warranty? Well months ago I contacted Power A about my controllers at their email address and through their social media, but they were completely unresponsive. I saw many other customers on their social media and even a yt vid reporting the same unresponsiveness. I probably would not have purchased any of Power A's products if it wasn't for the 2 year warranty they offered, which I assumed mean't they had a lot of confidence in their products and therefore had no problem standing by them. Sad to find out Power A's method is just to not respond to a large number of claims. Even if Power A did respond and replace defective controllers, it's not a reasonable or environmentally friendly solution. I remember when, and still have working mint condition controllers and other electronics and toys from the 80's and 90's. It's better to make a lasting product from the start than to repeatedly ship replacements. I really wish companies today would do better.
