Five stars so far. Lag time is much better than wireless, even with an extra USB extender to the 3-meter included. I had two other of the plug-in versions of this brand in the past (3 years ago) with regular sticks and they didn't last more than 100-150 hours before I got bad stick drift or the cable input broke on my mini one. But I cannot attest if my daughter dropped it on the cable input when I wasn't looking. I'm excited to see how this one might hold up as drift with hall effect is pretty hard to achieve. At $30-40 I love having a plug in option instead of blowing through AA's every week. It'll pay for itself in 4-6 months if it holds. The app works fine on PC, I haven't tried the xbox app. I really like the underside 2 mappable buttons because I have an issue with my index finger from an injury. I switch the shoot trigger to be on the underside to my middle finger and it allows me to play FPS games for a lot longer. The buttons feel smooth if a bit more resistance than MS controllers, the thumb sticks are adjustable and hold their position. The thumb sticks have a bit too much bite for my likes compared to the softer feel of MS sticks. Almost like their a harder plastic or not sanded. I think I am going to buff them a little and see if it's easier on my thumbs. I'll report how that goes. So far after about 40 hours of play, I highly recommend this for the mappable under buttons, the adjustable sticks, no batteries, fast response, and hall effect accuracy.

Third party controllers can be hit or miss. In recent years I've had bad luck with 3 different PDP brand controllers, so I didn't have high hopes for PowerA. But, so far, the 2 that I've purchased have been great, work as expected, and have a good set of features for the price. If you're someone that doesn't mind using a wired controller then I highly recommend giving one of these a try, just be sure to use the official PowerA App. Also, the Night Blossom design is gorgeous!

The controller has lasted a little over 6 months of use before buttons start breaking down. For me, the LT button has grown finnicky. Pressing down the button will either work flawlessly or rapidly register and unregister the button as pressed. For context, I tried this product after growing tired of purchasing a new Elite controller every year due to buttons breakings down. I use controllers pretty heavily on a semi-daily basis. Compared to an elite controller, this one is much lighter and the wired connection can be more annoying, but the extra long wire does not make the controller inconvenient to use. The paddles are extremely easy to bind. There are two paddle downfalls compared to the elites. 1) There are only two buttons to bind instead of having up to four and 2) the controller does not have presets to change which paddles does what if you play multiple games with different bindings. The easy bind process makes up for that fact, but it can be annoying if you are used to switching what your paddles do with a click of a button. I would recommend this product, and buy it again.

New reveiw: So far after six months of constant use this replacement controller has now out done even name brands with quality. I will definitely buy this again when it fails simce its still going strong. I believe in quality and longevity for my continued support of any product by any company. No i was not paid for this review. Im just happy enough to finally get a controller that last longer then a few months. Therefore I will buy a product that works instead of a constant failing one. Just saying. order review: Amazing but R3 started to hardware fail out of the package. Would buy again to see if the button issue is a fluke. Cannot combo button map (a bunch of inputs at once into one mapping) like the old Mini. Lasts longer then most controllers spec the thumbsticks and bumpers. R trigger started to self operate at times after 6 months of use. Still last longer then most controllers.

I bought this controller a month ago and hadn't written a review because I thought it was normal to receive products like this. The controller arrived with a faulty connection. It's outrageous. I will never buy this product again, and I don't recommend it. I've been ripped off.

Quite a few years ago, during the Holidays. I was home for the holidays and had brought my Xbox home to casually play. When I broke my controller. I ended up going to the local Gamestop and picking up a PowerA controller. I instantly fell in love with it. The sleek design and real feel of a xbox controller. It also connected perfectly to my PC, which I use more often than my Xbox. That controller broke earlier this year, and I decided to get another PowerA controller. Obviously, there have been some improvements, and it's amazing. I absouletly love this controller I'm sure it will last a long time.

I needed to replace an aging XBOX wired controller and found this on sale. I've heard of PowerA being a decent controller so I figured to give it a shot. The only game that has tested this controller is Fortnite and Tomb Raider. I'm not a serious gamer but the controller seems responsive enough with satisfying clicks on the buttons. I think the triggers feel a bit lighter than my old controller but it doesn't cause enough of a distraction. It's too new for stick drift but with the magnetic sensors, I don't think it should be an issue. I've dropped it a few times on the hardwood floor so it seems durable so far. I'd buy this again.
