It is wider, reclines much further and with its with button, and the motor is super quiet. The cushion is strong and very comfortable. The chair is fine for the price. It does everything promised. It was delivered up steps to my door, and easy to assemble. My rating reflects it's stiffness. The cushioning is not plush. I wanted a straight back chair and it is, but it doesn't wrap you in comfort. I added 2 pillows and that helped. I wanted a swivel rocker recliner as an extra chair in my living room. This recliner was better than expected for the price. The delivery arrived in two separate boxes. After taking the pieces out of the box, it didn't seem like it would look as nice as pictured on Amazon. However, after completing the assembly, it turned out looking decent. I think that it looks even better after I detach the two side pieces on the backrest, remove the brackets, and replace the two screws on each side. Then, I attached the power wires as instructed and plugged it in. The controls on the right side is responsive and the motor is silent and works smoothly. There is also a USB-C and a USB 2.0 port to hook up electronics. I was starting to get back aches from sitting on a chair for extended periods so I'm very happy with this purchase. This is recliner will save me from having back problems and I will be using it a lot. ... show more

Great value for the price. We got it for a nursery chair. We used a glider & ottoman for our first baby but I suspected a recliner would be better, and so far that was the right call! It’s a slim profile chair so it’ll fit in a nursery, but the seat is not too small and the back is nice and tall. The cushions are on the firm side but I expect they will soften with use. The electric recline is wonderful - smooth, quiet, easy to use. It reclines far enough, but not super far. Don’t expect to be laying flat in it. The buttons for reclining light up a bright blue when in use, but the lights turn off immediately after. I do wish it had a little more support behind the head, but that’s easily rectified with a pillow. The arm rests may be a little low for nursing, but I am also tall and expect to use pillows for that anyway. The chair is not too heavy to move around, but not so light that it feels excessively cheap. The fabric feels tough enough. I expect it will hold up well without tearing or wearing out. If the chair breaks, I will be very sad, but I will update my review accordingly. If there’s no update, it’s safe to assume the chair is still working. ... show more

Update June 2026 chair will no longer close all the way and will not charge anything. Cheap chair. May 2025 I love this chair! I got this glider to use to rock my baby. It was delivered May 6, 2025 and within 3 days it started making a popping noise when we’d recline in it. A week later when I was pumping at 3am I heard a metal piece hit the ground. I contacted the seller about it and they said the chair will still work as normal and gave me a $20 refund for the piece that broke off. As you can see I’m not overweight so if you are I wouldn’t recommend this chair. However it is comfy and rocks nice. I love the pocket on the side and that it has a usb port so I can charge my phone. We live in an apartment and it’s the perfect size. ***if you have a baby registry you can add this to it and use your 15% off coupon. I did that and it saved some money. :) ... show more

The wrong chair got delivered originally and talking to customer service about it was a pain. Customer service is not clear with their instructions and took a very long time to respond to me. When I finally did receive the right chair, it was easy to assemble in the sense of no tools were needed. Everything snapped or slid into place.
