The Low-Dust ceramic Formula Brake Pads are reinforced with carbon fibers to strengthen the compound. They are dust free, nose-free, and give you increased braking power without sacrificing everyday drivability. The rotors are cast using the finest G3000 metallurgy with strict OE tolerances - making them a perfect, bolt-on upgrade without the need to make any modifications. Precision drill holes allow for maximum rotor cooling. This keeps your brakes temperatures down during extreme operating conditions. Rounded slots help wipe away any gas or debris - keeping a clear contact patch on the rotor surface for safe, smooth braking. I had this brake and rotor kit installed on my 2015 Acura MDX SH-AWD. The drilled and slotted rotors look awesome with my open rims and the brake pads are great quality ceramic pads. I noticed a huge difference in stopping distance and noise with the stock rotors that were previously on my car. One thing to note, make sure the small metal clips that are included are securely seated on the tops and bottoms of the caliper bracket. One of them was loose and got bent before I drove away. I hesitated to buy this because of another review that said it doesn’t fit the 2016 Acura MDX sh-awd. I pulled the trigger anyway and they fit perfectly. Great buy.

    • Braking better than my car has since I purchased it
I have a 2014 Acura MDX and the previous rotors had hot spots in the rear and starting to wobble on the front. They have always been a little shaky, especially descending hills. This set has been great. I did the break-in process around a neighborhood after installation. I have had them for a couple of months now and have been very happy with braking in all conditions and also with the low amount of dust on my wheels. I will be curious how I feel next year, but so far they have been better than the previous replacements I have gotten from tire shops. ... show more

The selector for vehicles on Amazon DOES NOT have a submodel selector for the base model vs the SH-AWD model. I ordered the kit/rotor/pads (K6956) for all 4 wheels, and had my entire Left front disassembled, and the rotor is an inch smaller and does not fit. Called the mfg: they didnt know either. a bit frustrating. wasted a grubby afternoon, and had to reassemble the brakes. I have this Z23 sport kit on my Forester XT, for my mountain driving commute, and absolutely love it. doesn't fade. a dramatic improvement over the stock XT brakes. Was trying to get it for the MDX SH-AWD now. I found a different kit number through an advertiser, and suddenly Amazon reflected that at the top of the page. yesterday. and now today and can't find it again, and the selector still chooses this one (the wrong one) today. frustrating. I know it's there somewhere. boxing up and returning this kit today. ... show more
