I had to get rid of all my furniture due to a flooded apartment. So after my most recent move, I basically had to repurchase everything all at once. All of the big-box furniture stores had delivery available in 6-8 weeks, and a wait that long just was not an option when there’s no place to sit except a pair of end tables. Amazon offers furniture and large item delivery (free with Prime) and they also had better prices than Wayfair and Overstock when it came to the pieces that I wanted. I came up with a theme and did a ton of research on the pieces I needed, and ordered them all at once. Here’s how I feel about this sofa/loveseat set: - The price absolutely cannot be beat. I could get 1 couch at RTG for the same price as the two Poundex couches. These are a great way to quickly fill a large living space while stretching your dollar. - These made the last leg of their trip to my apartment by a local freight company. They actually came a day early, which was great because I was available to accept the order early. The guys were courteous and brought them right into my apartment. I could not have lifted these two massive boxes on my own - they were almost refrigerator-sized. Have a box cutter handy to break it all down once you’re done. - I was surprised that the sofas arrived unscathed. They are packed tightly and somehow have enough cushion to keep them secure in the shipping boxes. One has a big scratch mark across the bottom sofa cushion (which is easily hidden with a throw blanket, and is purely a cosmetic flaw), but they survived the cross-country shipment to my house without any other notable damage or flaws. I guess that I have low expectations, because part of me always expects big shipments to be smashed to smithereens by the time they reach me. Not the case here! - I purchased the set in “lagoon”. The color looks nice in pictures, but has a lot of green undertones in real life. When I opened the first box, I thought it was a super ugly color and immediately regretted my purchase. But after setting them up and adding my own pillows, they look a lot better. It’s a neutral color on the blue-green end of the spectrum that actually matches a lot of accent pieces. - Assembly took a long time, but ironically was very simple. The only assembly required is screwing in the 4 legs and the one center support leg, and then sliding the backs into place. It took me 45 minutes to slide both sofa-backs into their brackets. It would have been easier if I had someone assisting, but that was not an option. I did eventually get them in. It’s just difficult when you can’t see either of the brackets, and the sofa-backs have to slide in at just the right angle to catch. - As per the reviews I read about this set, the sofas are FIRM. Like, a step above rock hard. Pretty to look at, but definitely not the most comfortable. I could not take a nice nap on either of these sofas. I can sit for about 15-20 minutes before my back and bum decide that they’ve had enough. Adding a million pillows helps, but it’s not a cure-all. So if you’re looking for something to do some serious lounging on, I would honestly say to look elsewhere. If you’re looking to fill a space... maybe an extra room, or a seating area where nobody really sits and relaxes for long periods of time, then these are a good option. I was all about the A E S T H E T I C S when it came to this purchase, and I really only sit on my sofas for short periods of time anyway, so these work well for me. - The sofas each come with two 16” x 16” pillows. If you don’t like the printed pattern, you can always buy pillow covers in pairs here on Amazon. That’s what I did, and it really helps to personalize the look and color scheme. These sofas look like they will hold up for a while, especially if they aren’t heavily used. Great coaches for the price value. Very easy to assembly and very light weight. I wished the color was more Ash Black than greyest blue, but still a nice color. Easy to move the sofas around for cleaning and re-positioning. Good size for large living rooms or small livings rooms. The couch and loveseat are cute. The quality is very very poor missing a bracket for one of the legs to tighten it. I didn’t get rid of my other couch. I would’ve returned these do not buy.

    • Looks super cute but started falling apart after a month

Update: After a great deal of frustration, I found some sort of anchor clip at a hardware store and havent had trouble with the leg falling off. They do still unscrew really easily and all are at an odd angle if you screw in all the way. But, the legs are pretty much my only complaint. Overall this set has continued to look pretty good. The fabric has stood up to 2 dogs and a couple of moves. Adding 2 stars. This set is super cute. I love the fabric and it is nice and lightweight. It isn't super comfy but it isn't uncomfortable either. The reason I'm not giving it a higher rating is because after one month of light use, one of the legs fell off the couch. It just collapsed. I've not been jumping up and down on the thing nor do I have kids or anyone being rough with it. When I went to see what the trouble was I found that the anchor that was supposed to hold the sofa leg has broken out of the cheap plywood already. I'm left with a big stripped out hole in a piece of crumbly plywood. How exactly am I to reattach the leg since now. I'm trying to temporarily fix it with wood glue but I shouldn't be having this problem and the fact that it happened so quickly after purchase doesn't give a great deal of faith in the quality of this product. ... show more

I cannot believe the quality of these two pieces at this price point! I am so surprised. They look gorgeous in my living room and have stood up to my 6'7' 350lbs son for 6 weeks now without a creak. I need more supportive seating because of sacrum issue. Most American sofas are so squishy that you rear ends up lower than you knees. This causes me a great deal of pain. So much so that I could no longer comfortably sit with my family in the evenings to watch TV. They are firm but not uncomfortable. The color is gorgeous and I love the sleek simple lined, very Scandinavian Modern. They were very, very easy to assemble. Just make sure to slip the back into the corresponding slots otherwise when someone sits on it, they could easily break your sofa. I paid less for this set than what most stores charge for one loveseat. I would but this again in a heartbeat. ... show more

    • Bracket missing from one couch making it unusable.

The larger couch assembled well and is sturdy…the second couch is missing a bracket so the back can’t be fit into the couch. Also you can’t lean back or the back of the couch will slide off. Probably pass on this one and go with a better made brand.

Price wise it's very reasonable. This set is very sleek, stylish, and reasonably comfortable. It makes for a great talking piece when we have company. Everyone who sees it loves the color and feel of the fabric. This set fits perfectly in our open living/dining room. The cushions are not removable which we've gotten used to. I just love the accent pillows, they were a real surprise and delight item. When delivered the delivery company did cut the underside fabric with the a utility knife. They disclosed this to us and offered to help sort out a return but my daughter is handy with fabric related repairs and everything worked out great. If you're on the fence with this purchase, search YouTube like I did as there are videos that accurately show the size for your so space. Plus some tips on assembly. ... show more
