I have been looking for good poultry scissors for a very long time. Most of the products I have seen in stores did not get anywhere close to my expectations (based on the quality poultry scissors I remember from my mother and grandmothers). This product is a very close match to what I have been looking for and at a reasonable price too. I find it very comfortable since I have large hands (someone with small hands may find it less easy to handle). The handle is smooth steel which will be slippery when the hands are wet. It makes for easy cleaning but a textured handle surface would provide a safer grip. I'm very happy with this purchase and expect it to last a long time. If I ever need another pair I would buy this exact model again.

Love these! They are sharp, cut right through bone. I'm a chicken wing eating person, but I don't like leaving the wing on because it sometimes have too many feathers (1-2) on them and they pop up out of the oil. So I just cut the off. These have made that process so easy! Excellent tool!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

I broke the plastic handle off my old pair cutting a chicken. These won't break. They remind me of antique surgical tools. Heaver than they look. You can feel the quality. I think I'll buy another pair for the Motorhome. Go ahead, you won't regret it.

I bought and used these to spatchcock our Thanksgiving turkey. I chose them based on mostly positive reviews and a midlevel price point (based on other similar shears.) They worked quite well and are very lightweight. The backbone came out reasonably easily, and I was very glad for the curved blades. Only negative is that they open up a bit too wide for my hand (I'm a woman with not-small hands) and the spring came undone a few times. Nothing that couldn't be easily fixed. For a tool that will likely get used only once a year, these fit the need for a very reasonable price.

Bought these because I recently discovered spatchcocked chicken and tried it before I got these and ended up breaking the kitchen scissors and getting a cramp in my hand. Researched and got these and tried them on some chicken wings to cut off the edges and it was very easy to do so...like cutting paper! No more cramping my hands using both to try to cut something. Very ergonomic in my hands. Cant watch to spatchcock a turkey!
