After undergoing a myomectomy, I began searching for a reliable post-operative abdominal binder, and I came across this Postpartum & Post Surgery Abdominal Binder. It's made of soft, breathable material, ensuring comfort even during long hours of wear. The adjustable Velcro strap provides customizable compression, offering great abdominal support without being overly restrictive. It has helped reduce the heaviness in my abdomen and allowed me to move more comfortably as I heal. Although marketed primarily for postpartum recovery, I found that this binder works exceptionally well for abdominal surgeries like mine. It’s not overly bulky, so it’s pretty discrete under clothing. Versatile option for anyone needing abdominal support after major surgery, most definitely has a nice balance of comfort and support.

This abdominal binder is a great value for the support it provides. The binder is very comfortable post surgery and extended wear; also it is non-visible underneath clothing. I would highly recommend for anyone post hysterectomy or any other abdominal related surgeries/injuries.

This is the second abdominal binder I've bought from Gepoetry, the first being their 3-in-1 Postpartum Recovery Support Belt set. I got that set for hysterectomy recovery, and have posted a review for it as well for anyone interested. This binder is the same amazing quality as the first, and the one piece design is going to be great for further into my recovery, and as an everyday compression piece. It's has a very comfortable fit, so it can be worn all day without feeling the need to remove it. I do recommend wearing a tank or cami under the binder to reduce any rubbing on the skin, along with protecting the binder from any sweat or oils on your skin. On top of my recent hysterectomy, I deal with chronic pain issues as well as EDS and POTS, so compression is a huge part of my daily routine to minimize pain and chronic illnesses symptoms. The only downside to this particular binder, for me, and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5; is that it was not available in a size small. This obviously won't be an issue for everyone, but for the more petite customers, just be aware. I ordered the medium and can make it work, although the first main set of velcro attaches at the very edge, so I can't get quite as much compression as I'd prefer. But since there is a second layer of velcro for extra support I'm not worried about the binder losing it's grip and opening up. As reference for anyone looking for sizing help beyond the size chart in the listing, I'm 5'9", ~120lbs, and my waist is typically 24", although I am still dealing with some post surgery swelling/bloating, which is setting my waist at about 25" in the morning, and closer to 25.5"/26" by the end of the day. I'm 15 days post op as of writing this review(April 1st). If this binder ever comes out in a size small, I will definitely be purchasing another in the smaller size, but will also be keeping the medium since I can make it work, and might be able to add extra velcro to increase compression levels. Overall this a great abdominal binder that could help a variety of issues needing compression beyond postpartum/post surgery recovery, and the price can't be beat for the quality of the product.
