    • You get what you pay for!
I mean, honestly, this was not a major purchase. :) You get three plastic and metal telescoping back scratchers for a very small number of dollars. They're economical, they're affordable, you can keep one in each room of your house (assuming you have a three room house). And whaddaya know -- you can scratch your back with them, or any other body part you select on your own person, or on a person or creature of your choosing. Woot! However....they're made very cheaply. They feel flimsy; I can imagine the telescoping parts might break within three or four uses. Already, the gripping handles on my scratchers twist on and off and have to be repositioned often, because they're not glued down. The scratching implements each have tines that I can also imagine breaking off in the near future, as they're not exactly made of titanium. I'd purchased these so that I'd no longer have to scratch with the household objects I've been grabbing over the years -- a scissors, a fork, steak knives, vacuum cleaner hose attachments, the femur of my mortal enemy -- but it's possible that in the long run, a femur will outlast the more delicate new scratchers. And you know what? That's fine. It's all good. Whatever happens, I'll just let it roll off my back. ... show more

I bought this for a laugh, but it's amazingly comfortable and relieving. The handles all extend far enough to reach down your whole back. Makes for a great gift too.
