  • Tough, Lightweight, Sharp, Easy to Use.
I'm so glad these were as easy to use as they are. I'm putting up a tetherball pole for my German Shepherd and these made it a snap for this 65 yo woman. The blades aren't sharp enough to cut you, of course, but they sliced through the hard red clay dirt in my Oklahoma backyard just fine. I had that pole up in no time. This is a very sturdy tool, easy for a woman to use. HIghly recommend. ... show more

  • Bright and Sturdy Post Hole Digger Stands Out
We recently added this manual post hole digger to our farm equipment, and it has proven to be an exceptional tool. The construction is sturdy and high-quality, with sharp edges that cut through the ground effortlessly. Yet it's not overly heavy, making it manageable during prolonged use. The fiberglass handles provide a robust yet lightweight feel, enhancing durability without adding extra weight. The grips on this digger are designed for comfort and security. They allow for a firm hold, which is crucial when working on fencing projects around the farm. This ergonomic design minimizes fatigue, making it easier to work for longer periods without discomfort. Additionally, the bright orange handles are a great feature—they make the digger easy to spot in the tool shed or out in the field, reducing the risk of it being left behind or lost. Overall, this post-hole digger is a reliable and valuable tool for any fencing and gardening tasks on the farm. ... show more

  • Good digger for the price
Comparing this to another post hole digger I have but is narrower. I needed this digger which has a wider throat to dig larger holes. What I look for is construction/durability, weight (heavier to toss/stab into denser soil, lighter to dig multiple holes with less fatigue), and ergonomics. With that, this digger has fiberglass handles with a great grip for ergonomics. It is a bit lighter than another larger post digger I have, which I do not mind because that one wears me out and I wanted something lighter for less dense soil. But being lighter in weight may mean less durability. The blades are riveted to the hinged section so I don't know if they will wear and come loose after a days of heavy digging. Then again, as I said, sometimes you need a variety of post hole diggers. Not many folks do as much landscape, gardening etc. I've owned a few diggers, some cheap ones that don't last so I try to stick with something that can take a beating. While I haven't put it to the test in rocky soil, I used it to dig a new fence post while the ground by me is mush. This did a good job and, with the wider throat, pulled more dirt (mud) out than the other narrower post hole digger. A good digger for the homeowner. ... show more

  • Absolute unit of a post-hole digger 🙂
This is a rugged post-hole digger with low gauge metal on the “blades” and strong, fiberglass handles. There’s a smooth resin coating & rubber grips up top that make it easy to hold even as hole depth increases. The weight of this thing was a bit surprising, but that’s a testament to the steel used in its construction. This’ll absolutely cover most of your needs for post holes (up to 6” diameter posts, and down to 48” in depth). We own 5 acres and frequently need to replace posts that get broken due to falling limbs, trees, etc. Considering a lower quality post-hole digger will cost you nearly 1.5x the price of this item at a big box store, this lawn/garden tool offers plenty of value for a very reasonable price! ... show more

  • I Dig This!
As a landlord, it seems I have to pull out the post-hole-digger way too often. Installing mailboxes or replacing fence post is just a way of life. I know, you don’t have to use one every day, but when you do, having a good-quality tool makes the job a whole lot easier. This digger is really nicely made with super-sharp edges and strong, sturdy handles. Actually, it feels as though it may be the last digger I’ll ever have to buy. Overall – Excellent quality at a reasonable price. ... show more

  • Comparable To Kobalt
This is a nice post hole digger, picked this up to make gardening easier and it did the trick. And its a bit more enjoyable than shoveling. Nice clean cuts, quality material. I was pretty rough on this tool and it held up without and signs of stress. Nice large size for the price, exactly what I needed and nicer than expected. ... show more

  • Works great if you go a little at a time
I needed to make a few holes for some posts that will hold retracting garden hoses. I didn't need top of the line, because I only needed to do a few. I tried a cheaper version and the handles immediately broke. So I was pleased to see how sturdy this one feels. I was able to do 2 holes about 24 inches deep and 12 inches wide to sink a 4x4. It help up. I could feel it start to protest a bit if I tried to take really large bites. But by being a little more careful it was perfect for what I needed it for. ... show more

  • Great post hole digger
This is actually much better than the post home digger I currently have as the opening is much wider and it's taller than my old one. This is great for me physically as I'm 6ft and the shorter handles can cause stooping and back pain. Also the wider insert point gets nice sized holes dug much quicker and with less effort. Pricing is spot on to what I would pay in the stores and the overall construction and quality is great. ... show more
