This does a good job for doing what it says it does, i.e., hang miscellaneous fitness equipment, e.g., curl bar, pulldown bars, belts, etc. Anything that isn't too heavy that can be hung. It is NOT for hanging full-sized olympic bars. I knocked a star off because the hanging hardware that is provided is sketchy and I ended up using my own. You'll want to do the same. ... show more

No, it’s not 16” so hitting 2 studs is tricky, you can get the center hole on a stud with the supplied lag bolt and then use the drywall anchors on the sides. Mine is easily supporting 100+lbs. great for a compact space

    • Hardware is useless. Will cost more than $27.

I didn't expect a ton out of a $27 rack but was even more disappointed that I thought. The rack itself is high-quality material. It's not wide enough to hang an Olympic bar which is fine, but don't understand that logic. The hardware is completely useless. The drywall anchor they provide are too big for the insanely cheap bolt/screws that they include. The head of the bolt/screw I put into a stud snapped off half way into the stud with a pre-drilled hole already there. After already having drilled the holes for the other two drywall anchors, I found out the screws are too small and do not grab the anchors. I now have three holes in my wall with a rack that won't mount. Off to the hardware store to spend even more money to fix this product. Would not recommend unless you expect to have to replace all the hardware they provide for mounting. ... show more
