Package looks fine didn’t work. Strings broke very very cheap. I guess it’s what you’d expect for some thing at that cost price if you don’t know what you’re doing with the violin do not buy this. Instead go to music store or get a used one that’s already set up and ready to go.

Violin feels kind of cheap, but I’ve also never seen a violin in person. Got it for my daughter for Christmas, and when she opened it the chin rest was completely cracked down the middle and there was no instruction book like it stated. My daughter is excited to learn how to play, wish they would send a replacement chin rest and the instruction booklet.

I got this as a starter violin for my kid because they wanted to give it a try, and I didn't want to pay a lot for something they might play a few times and decide they didn't want to continue. Had a few issues with it when setting it up for use: 1) The tuning pegs were extremely loose and would not hold their positions when tuning. Even after pushing them as hard as I could, they would still loosen themselves, so the tuning process took a long time having to repeatedly re-adjust. I ended up having to use fine tuning to its limits to not disturb the pegs once I could find a spot where they stuck. The tuner it comes with has to be attached to the violin in order to tune correctly. 2) The bows had loose hairs that would not pull taut, despite tightening the bow as far as I could without threatening to damage it. They hung down and would catch on the other violin strings while bowing. I eventually had to cut them off with scissors. 3) The bridge had no notches for the strings, so I basically had to eyeball where they were supposed to go. There were no instructions on how to set things up. Otherwise, it gets the job done and does play and learn. You get what you pay for, so as long as you aren't expecting much, it's a decent way to give the violin a try. 3 stars for quality, but 4 for the price.

Came in non-damaged box. Looks like perhaps it was opened and returned as a different product. This one had plastic strings like a kid toy, not metal. No replacement strings at all (missing 4 sets), missing 1 whole Bow, missing 1 Rosin case. Instructions not helpful for beginners at all, still trying to find out how to tune it or place bridge so it doesnt slip, been 3 hours so far no success. I'm thinking it was just a scammed return that somehow was sent as New In Box but then that means the QA team sucks. Either way I have to return it even though we waited a week and band class already started.
