    • Can I remove the battery?
I purchased this as a special gift for a wedding couple. Seems a bit cheesy but overall very well done. However I’d like to remove the battery to stop the time to a specific time. Is there a way to do this?

    • Cheap looking
My husband really likes wearing watches and likes researching different time pieces. I thought this would be a neat addition to his desk. I feel like it’s a little bit cheesy but I thought it had potential by the pictures. Upon receiving it, I find it to be fairly cheap looking. I actually debated on whether or not to give it to him. Instead I ended up giving it to him but telling him he did not have to put it on his desk if he didn’t like it.For what it’s worth, he did end up displaying it on his desk. Part of me wonders if he just feels obligated. But it’s sweet. The bottom has a non-scuff felt pad. The body is a vintage looking brass color so it’s a darker color and not too bright. It has a very neat way that it is displayed on the stand. However, the clock is not completely centered with the center post and is off a bit. It’s not extremely noticeable but it’s noticeable enough to be irritating. The back where it says, “I will love you until the end of time” came scratched. I don’t think it is supposed to look that way. The pictures do not show it scuffed looking. Truly, I think this it is just low quality. As far as setting it goes, it’s simple and straight forward.     • Runs smooth, quiet, long time without rewhinding
I got this at least a month ago, wound it, and it is still running with no rewinding needed. It is keeping perfect time. It is silent and has no clicking sound at all. It is small, just about 1 3/4" wide clock face and about 5 1/2" high including the winding mechanism on top and stand. I have it on my computer desk at home and sit about 2 feet away from it. I can see it perfectly without glasses from that distance. It would not be useful if you were far away at its size. It goes great with other marine novelty items I have in the room.
