I have arthritis in my hands, and I also have an elderly dog who wears little belly diapers. We wash the diapers by hand, but wringing them out is what kills my hands. We can dry them in our clothes dryer, but that takes a lot of energy, so I was hoping that the "spin cycle" on this unit would dehydrate the diapers to something close to wringing them out, so that I can just hang them to dry in a few hours. But this unit's spin cycle is either too small or too slow. I have used spin dryers at swimming pools, which you just stick your suit in and in about 20 seconds, it's try enough to put in your duffel bag without making everything else wet. Those spin dryers are about the same size as this unit's basket, but spin much faster. This basket spins about as fast as a full sized clothes washer's spin cycle, but since it is so small, there isn't as much momentum at play, and it will barely remove any water from the little diapers. On top of that, the little suction cups on the bottom of the unit aren't nearly good enough to hold it on a smooth surface for the spin cycle. I replaced them with some inexpensive suction cups that actually do the trick. (See the photo. I simply removed the 4 screws from the bottom, opened it enough that I could squeeze the existing ones enough to pull them out of the bottom, and replaced them with some screw on suction cups, and then screwed it back together). I also tried a full wash/rinse/spin cycle to see how it would be if I wanted to wash the diapers in this instead of washing them by hand. The thing does wash OK, but then you need to drain and rinse the unit before doing a rinse cycle for the contents. And the drain hose is useless, because you have to open the drain plug to put the hose on... (See the other photo... I suppose you could fix this by putting the plug in the end of the hose, or use a different rubber - not plastic - drain hose on, and then using a clip to keep the hose sealed while you're using it, and then remove the clip to drain...) But I am trying to imagine a scenario where using this would be better than just washing things by hand, and I really can't. It's cute, and it folds up nicely, but the functionality is not good enough to make it worth it.

The media could not be loaded. It is good for washing a few, lightly dirty, items at a time. If you have size 3XL items, the guide on the site is NOT accurate. We put one pair of underwear, one pair of socks, and a camisole in it, size 3XL. I wouldn't want to put too much more in it. Those items are overflowing the spinner basket. It moves a LOT during the spin cycle. It does not come with good directions. It doesn't say how much soap to use. It doesn't say if the spinner basket should be installed during washing, or only during the "dehydrate" cycle. It doesn't have cleaning directions. It doesn't say how high to fill the water. The cord is pretty short, so it needs to be near a plug. Which wouldn't be a problem, except it wiggles a bunch and water spills out the sides, so we use it in the kitchen sink, and there is not a plug close enough without an extension cord. There is a little notch on the back of the bucket to hang the drain hose on, which is convenient. I also really like the drying hanger with clips. It spins for a bit, then stops and switches directions. We washed with the basket inside, which made a decent agitator. I was also very careful not to overload it. The motor is pretty noisy. The hose that is supposed to connect to the faucet doesn't connect to any of mine, but it wasn't a problem because the entire thing is already in the sink anyway because it splashes so much. The items we put in were VERY dirty. I put it through a 5min wash before I figured out how to access the other cycles, then a 10min wash, both with soap. The clothes still stunk. So I did a 5min cycle with baking soda and let it soak for half an hour. The water was brown, so I drained it and rinsed it out and ran another 5min cycle with baking soda and let it soak again. It was still pretty brown, but I drained and rinsed it, then ran a 10min wash with soap, which left the water still a bit brown, but definitely not as bad. Then another 10min soap wash, then finally a rinse cycle (just water). I used hot water for everything. It CAN get very dirty items clean, but they need soaking, and you have to run it multiple times, which requires you to drain and refill it a lot. We bought it for use mainly for period underwear, and it will work perfectly for that.

I really like this mesh washing bag. It has a pink fabric zipper stripe, and there is a wide elastic band at the end where it zips closed. You can push the tip of the zipper pull under the elastic band so it won't get hooked on anything. I really like this small size laundry bag because nothing can get lost, not even a little bra extender! You can put shoe laces in these, fabric masks, gloves, glasses cleaning cloths and more. Those are just little ideas. A large bra will fit in the bag as well. The bag lets water and soap in and out through the mesh without any problems. It holds up in the dryer too. Great quality at a good price!!

This bag is easily big enough to hold my 42D bras, with a little room to spare. It zips easily shut, and has held up through multiple washes without any wear or tear. It prevents my bra straps from tangling with my other laundry or getting snagged. I do not use it in the dryer, as I air-dry my bras.
