I wanted a solar panel to charge the backup battery for my CPAP machine in case of a power outage or for going camping. The Topunive was 1 of 3 that I tried. PROS: It's rigid, so it won't warp in the heat. It has metal kickstands. It comes with a carrying case and an owners manual. CONS: It claims to charge more/faster because it is 2-sided. One of the other panels charged faster (EBL Solar) and 1 was slower (Top Solar). I tried the panels starting at 11:30 a.m. The only way I could measure the power was by the percentage of charge received by the back-up battery. I hoped this Topunive would out-perform the other two, but it didnt. I retuned it.

The media could not be loaded. Not an engineer, I am just a typical consumer. This is the first bifacial solar panel I have used or tried. I was very interested in how it performed especially since its very light weight. But the weather here has not been cooperating. Normally it is very easy to test solar panels here, but now difficult because of the never ending storms. I setup the Topunive 100 watt solar panel, and then I placed a SunPower 100 watt panel right on top of it. This gives me the exact same sun angles for the two panels. This is not a maximum wattage test, just a comparison test between solar panels. I got about 104 watts for the SunPower cells, and 94 watts for the Topunive panel, which is pretty good. I would have liked to use a mirror or some other reflective material to shine light onto the back of the panel for added power, but I do not own a mirror and the reflective material (I used Styrofoam) was hard to keep in place with the constant wind. Hopefully in the future when our weather returns to normal, I can test out the bifacial cells better. Item came well packaged with no damage. The solar panel seems well made and is surprisingly light weight. With the easy magnetic closure, light weight, 2-panel system, and simple legs that just fold out (no crazy Velcro), this panel can be set up in seconds being the fasted setup I have ever found. The solar panel has no storage pouch but it is not necessary since this closes like a clam shell, the cord and connectors are safely stored inside. Specs: • Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) 21.8 V • Vmp 18.6 V • Weight 5 lbs. • 9BB & A Grade solar panel • Monocrystalline silicon solar cell • Bifacial cells (efficiency is increased by 10% to 20%) • Metal handle • Closes with magnets • 6’ 3” cord • 20.5” x 21” x 1.5” folded • 20.5” x 42” opened • Comes with DC5521 (5mm), Anderson, DC7909 (8mm) and MC4 connectors • It states it is IP68 waterproof Pros: • Bifacial Solar Panel • ETFE coated for durability • Super light weight • Very easy 2 panel setup/teardown with metal legs • Up to 23% efficiency • Easy open and close with magnets • Comes with cloth case • Comes with typically used connectors plus MC4 • IP68 waterproof • Good wattage output for the price (but still less than the top rated panel) Cons: • The only con I can think of is the light weight (which yes, is a pro too). The light weight means it can be blown over easily in the wind. I will keep this review up to date if any new issues arise. At this price and with all the features, this is an easy 5 star product.

I bought this and tested it. Good price for a bifacial panel. I could not say what the coating is made of, but it could be what they say it is. I was getting 73 watts, put a car window reflector under it and got an extra 3 watts. It works and I charged my eco flow river 2 off of it in about 3 to 4 hours.

I recently purchased the Topunive Solar Panel Foldable 100W, and I must admit, my experience has been less than satisfactory. While the panel's lightweight design initially seemed like an advantage, it has proven to be a significant drawback. Even the mildest gust of wind has the potential to flip it over or send it flying, causing unnecessary frustration and concern during outdoor use. Furthermore, its performance has been underwhelming, with the panel yielding only about half of its rated wattage output even on the brightest of sunny days. This significant disparity between the promised and actual power generation has left me questioning the panel's overall efficiency and reliability. Additionally, the issue with the cords being permanently connected has proven to be a mild inconvenience, as it restricts the ability to add other cables and causes tangling when attempting to fold the panels into briefcase mode. This lack of flexibility has further added to my disappointment with this product. Regrettably, I cannot recommend the Topunive Solar Panel Foldable 100W to others, as its unreliability and impractical design have overshadowed any potential benefits it may have offered.
