I used it for post op following retina repair. I made 2 minor changes. I found the opening in the face pillow to be a little small for an injured eye and purchased a separate pillow from Amazon to place on top of the existing. Problem solved. I had read in the reviews that the headrest would not hold the weight of the head and found that to be true. I fixed that by placing a small between my chest and the chest support to push me back a couple of inches and put the weight closer to the hinge. Problem solved. ... show more

I ove this chair..it is a good product for the price..my only issue with it is the settings to change the chair positions, are not as functional as they should be. They jump out of place unexpectedly sometime, which is startling while a client is sitting on it.. and also can cause mistakes when I’m tattooing.     • It's not the best chair but it works on a budget.

I do a lot of chair massage these days. I started out borrowing my sister's earthlite chair which is very adjustable and comfortable. This chair isn't as adjustable and not nearly as comfortable. The cons: The seat doesn't have any tilt to it so feels uncomfortable when leaning forward on the chest pad, the face cradle always gives on one side making it uneven no matter how much I tighten it. The seat is kinda wobbly, I'm always tightening that too. The chest pad only adjusts up and down but only with the face cradle in position which is hard with certain clients. The carry bag can be kinda difficult if you don't have the chair in there just right and I've got a hole in it from trying to wrestle with it. Again other chairs I've worked with have bags that are super easy and sturdy. The pros: it's light, easy to set up and break down, it's affordable, and does the job. Overall this chair works if you're in a pinch, on a budget, or you don't do that much chair massage. I'm glad I purchased it but will be looking to upgrade in the near future. ... show more

Product arrived late yesterday for post operative macular degenerative repair recovery. Item arrived broken. Quality of this item was otherwise good. Customer service has been contacted and I will edit and update this review in the even customer service does in fact correct the issues. Face down requirements of 20+ hours/ day for two weeks is required, and the operation has been completed. At this time, pending customer services ability to remedy the defect, we do not recommend this device due to quality concerns that could have resulted in additional damage/harm/detriment To the affected eye during my elderly/veteran fathers post operative healing. Thankfully, there’s no notable damage that we can see but we have scheduled anew appt with his eye surgeon tomorrow to insure this defect didn’t cause damage to the internal elements or NO2 gas bubbles planted inside of his eye. ... show more
