The media could not be loaded. Nice solid piece. I wanted a decent boombox and saw this instead. It has bluetooth, wireless, I can plug a 🎤 in. I'm just getting started with it. I plan to also connect my roku tv to it. This is just low cost entertainment!

This had great sound and bass BUT it started to do strange things like coming on at 1 or 2am? It did this 3 times! I had to get out of bed and unplug it. Also, when you turned it on it was loud. You had to turn down the volume. Would have kept this but for the weird coming on in the early morning.

    • Pretty Good Speaker
For a speaker I didn't think I'd like, this one is pretty good! It's definitely old-school in looks and build, but surprisingly performs very well. The speaker comes with a remote control which is a nice touch. Just be aware that if you turn it off with the remote, you are actually just putting it in a standby mode. To fully turn it off you still have to flip the power switch OFF on the speaker, otherwise the battery will drain. Sound-wise I was pleasantly surprised. The overall volume is pretty good, and the bass and treble response can be adjusted via the remote control. Just know that the speaker reverts back to the default flat response when you turn it off so you'll have to adjust the bass and treble each time you power the speaker up. I also use a separate EQ app that provides me with much more sound flexibility which I recommend. Once dialed in, this speaker sounds really good, especially given the price point. The front panel includes flashing lights if you like that sort of thing, but thankfully they can be turned off, which is what I do. They don't flash to the beat of the music anyway and just get annoying after a while. There is also a nice carrying handle on the top which makes taking it with you a breeze, and they include a handy phone holder that presses into the speaker box by the handle. The speaker has an FM radio integrated in it, which is why a telescoping antenna is seen on the top of the unit. The tuner isn't very sensitive, however, and getting a station tuned isn't exactly easy, so don't buy this if your main use is going to be for FM radio listening. Overall I really like this bluetooth speaker and use it on my back screen porch. It's perfect for background music and can be turned up to a decent volume when needed. Honestly, for what you pay for it, it delivers some decent sound once you dial it in. If you're on the fence about this, go for it. I think you'll like it. ... show more

Like most everyone, I already have a small personal Bluetooth speaker to play my tunes during work or on the porch at the end of the day. But what if you need a bigger speaker, big enough to provide music for a larger party on the deck with several friends? That's the reason I was interested in this particular speaker. I wanted more power in a somewhat larger speaker, yet still easily portable. This speaker does a great job of filling the bill. Considering its size, it's got a good subwoofer, so the bass is nice and rich. The bonus? It also comes with a radio function so you can listen to your favorite FM stations. The bummer? You can only operate the radio with the remote control. If you ever lose the remote, you won't be able to tune the radio at all. I give it a four star review instead of perfect five, owing to what seems to be a very lightweight handle and the lack of radio tuning on the speaker itself. ... show more

    • Not a bad blu tooth speaker but there is room for improvement.
I was searching for a portable speaker to replace the Bose blu tooth I’ve had for over 10 years. This little portable Bluetooth speaker packs a punch to the senses. It has a handle to carry it around effortlessly and is extremely light weight. The Blu tooth connectivity is very quick and efficient. The sound that radiates from this speaker is very clear and louder than my bose although the base feature isn’t quite as proficient. Don’t’ expect a mind blowing base. One feature that seems fun is Karaoke, but since I don’t have a microphone, I was unable to test it. The FM tuner station does a decent job. My concerns are the following: 1) I am not a fan of the LED flashing lights although they can be turned off, you’d have to do that every time you turn the blu tooth on. 2) The power button seems extremely fragile. It is a little click level on the side—why isn’t it constructed to be a push or turn button is beyond my comprehension. It feels to me it would be the first thing to break if not handled carefully.     • Bring the party with you
These speakers aren't half bad! Lightweight and definitely portable with a handle on top so you can carry it around. The speaker has LED lights that flash that are pretty nice too which you can turn off if they become annoying (just be aware that the lights don't go to the beat of the music and just continuously flash). In regards to sound, its pretty clear and loud. Granted I have smaller JBLS and even my Echo speakers have more bass and sound than this speaker, but for the price point, I wouldn't be complaining. Connecting to bluetooth was super quick and easy as well. My speaker came fully charged so I can't say much about battery life yet or if the build of these speakers will last for a long time, but judging by the build and how it feels, I'm predicting i won't have much issues there. Another sweet thing about these speakers is that you can hook up microphones to them and get some karaoke going. Will definitely be bringing this out at the next party to test that out. If you want a portable speaker that gives you adequate sound with some cool lights and wanna bust out some karaoke, these speakers might be for you. Just be aware that the speakers are not waterproof and the instruction manual also said to avoid keeping it in direct sunlight in case you bring it out for any picnics.
