  • Really works!
My esthetician recommend I get one and guided me toward this brand, I bought the one he recommended which came without coils. Then I got this one (with coils). I had to search to learn the difference and I am glad I got both because now I have multiple wands for different situations at different intensities. Break down of my two versions: this one has visible coils and the wands are short whereas, the one I bought awhile back the wands are longer and do not have coils, and after doing a little research on why the design and sizing are different, the amount and content of the included instructions and made a lot more sense. The non-coil version is less intense and clearly designed for home use and beginners (not trained in esthetics). It comes with very detailed, easy-to-follow instructions. It even goes into depth about skin and each level, which I really appreciated. The visible coils version is noticeably more intense and is clearly geared toward professional or esthetician use, so the instructions are much more minimal. That difference is reflected in both the size of the wand and what comes in each kit. I took photos, and you can clearly see the size difference as well as the difference in included attachments and contents. I haven’t tried the hair comb attachment yet, but I can speak to the other attachments. I am in my mid forties and while I don't have wrinkles or skin sag yet I do have to deal with hormonal acne, so I cannot speak to the wands for tightenting skin or minimizing wrinkles. I can say that when I use the wands when I feel a pimple starting, it often never fully surfaces and just disappears. If I forget to treat it and it does come to the surface, once I use the wand the blemish heals and reduces much faster than usual. I'm trying my best to age naturally and gracefully and this helps me out in an affordable way, which I really appreciate. I really enjoy this and recommend it, this is a great product. ... show more

  • Portable High Frequency Wand That Works Really Well
I used to have a frequency wand set that I used all the time and loved. It was one of those skincare tools I actually stayed consistent with because I could see and feel a difference. But it ended up breaking, and ever since then I’ve been wanting to get another one. So when I saw this one by Darsonval, I figured I would give it a try. Right away I was really impressed with the packaging. It came very securely packaged and feels really luxurious. Everything is neatly organized inside a magnetic box, and each piece has its own spot which I really like. It makes it feel like a higher end device. And it looks gift ready if you wanted to. The quality of the wand itself is really nice. It feels well made and works really well. The dial controls both the power and the intensity, and there are 5 intensity levels you can adjust through. The power cord is also a good length, so you’re not stuck right next to an outlet. This set comes with several different electrode attachments which makes it really versatile. You get a U-shaped electrode for the neck and jawline, a spoon electrode for smaller facial areas, a comb electrode for the scalp, a tongue/direct electrode for targeted areas, a bent spot electrode for acne, and another electrode for harder-to-reach areas. Each one lights up as it should and works properly. It even comes with gauze pads and rubber bands in a small drawstring pouch, which is a nice extra. What this does is use a mild electrical current through the glass electrodes that creates that little tingling sensation when it touches your skin. It helps stimulate circulation and has that oxygenating effect. You can actually see the light inside the electrode when using it, which is normal and kind of cool. After using this consistently, I started to notice small but real differences. When I used it right when I felt a pimple starting, it actually made it down faster and it didn’t get as big or last as long.I also used it on a pimple that had already popped once, but still hurt and was festering again, and the next day it was healing instead. It’s not something that makes breakouts disappear overnight, but it definitely helps them heal quicker and look less irritated. Overall, my skin just looks a little more refreshed and even. It has that slight healthy glow to it, and my skin feels smoother. I also noticed my products seem to go on a little better after using it, especially serums and moisturizers. Using the different attachments throughout the week, it feels like it helps keep my skin more balanced overall. Not a dramatic change, but more of that consistent, maintained look where your skin just behaves better. I also tried using the scalp comb attachment since my hair has been damaged and not really growing for a while. What I noticed is that it gives your scalp a really nice stimulating feeling. After using it regularly, my scalp feels less dry and a little healthier overall. I wouldn’t say I saw major hair growth in a short time, but it feels like it’s helping create a better environment for growth instead of my scalp feeling kind of stagnant. My only real issue with this set is the instructions. They are honestly pretty bad. They don’t clearly explain how to use each attachment and don’t even list all the pieces included. It’s easy enough to look it up or figure out, but it would have been nice if it was explained better. One other thing I noticed is that when using higher intensity levels with certain electrode heads, the lights in the room would dim slightly. It’s not a huge issue, but definitely something worth mentioning. While it’s not necessarily dangerous, it’s also not ideal. At the current price of $79.60 (as of 4/4/26), I think this is a good value. Overall, this is a really good high frequency wand. It’s well made, works effectively, and comes with everything you need. The instructions could definitely be better, but once you figure it out, it’s easy to use and gives nice results over time. This is something that I use consistently in my routine and genuinely like using it. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • Multiple attachments but fragile and not very beginner-friendly
This handheld skincare wand comes with several glass attachments, which gives you options depending on how you want to use it. The device itself is lightweight and easy to hold, and I like that you can adjust the intensity during use. It’s convenient to have something like this available at home. However, the glass tubes feel extremely fragile. I was very cautious switching them in and out, and they seem like they could break easily if dropped. There’s also a learning curve. I didn’t read the directions the first time and accidentally shocked myself when turning it on, which was user error, but it made me realize this isn’t very beginner-friendly. Overall, I like the idea and variety of attachments, but the delicate glass pieces and the price point don’t quite match the value for me. It may be better suited for someone more experienced with this type of skincare tool. ... show more

  • Salon-quality, but not made for those without experience
As soon as I opened the box I was able to tell this is a salon-quality product. The build, the feel, and the variety of attachments all point to something designed for serious skincare use. That said, this is not something I would recommend for someone without at least some skincare knowledge. It definitely requires research and careful use to get the most benefit safely. It comes with 3 neon and 3 argon wands, which makes it super versatile and capable of targeting a wide range of skin concerns. There are a lot of potential uses here, which is great if you know what you're doing. The instructions could have been a bit more educational, especially for those trying to learn, but honestly it feels like this wasn’t designed with beginners in mind. The packaging does an okay job protecting the delicate components, but a hard snap case would have been a much better option for storage and long-term durability. ... show more
