BUY THIS ONE- NOT the one thats like $7 bucks cheaper- THIS ONE. I had them both, the cheaper one was like half the power, the hose cracked after a few months and eventually the whole thing failed. THIS ONE is SO MUCH better, operates exactly as described, and I'm actually flawed at the amount of power it puts out. It's CHEAP, seriously, $20 bucks or so is not a lot of money, and the one thats $7 cheaper is a poor knock off. You would be saving $7 bucks, you'd be wasting $13. Its also easy to use, does NOT leak, and fits into small holes for my hot tub. It's also easy to transfer fuel from a large heavy container into a small one with this thing. ... show more

This product was used to pump fuel from approximately from 12-15 five gallon fuel containers, over a course of different days. It started sounding weak and it would no longer pump the fuel. I assumed the batteries were giving out so I replaced them with new D batteries. It continued to struggle and then quit, never to pump again. I had a different brand before but dropped and broke it. I could always count on it. Wish I had paid attention to the brand. Anyway, back to lifting five gallon containers and trying not to spill it. Didn’t cost much and it was probably worth the use I got out of it for what it cost. I look at some of the more expensive ones but the reviews were not reassuring either. I’m still pretty stout at 70 but it was sure nice to just flip that little switch, while it was working. I may try another brand and hope it is reliable as the old one that I dropped and broke. ... show more

We use this pump when we need to add water to our aquariums. It’s lightweight and very easy to use. We use 6 gallon water jugs to haul the water, as our aquariums are on different levels of the house. The pump end goes into the mouth of the jug and the water is quickly transferred to the aquarium with no lifting or spilling. This was the only pump we could find that was listed for use with water and it was very reasonably priced, so we gave it a try. Finally used it today. Fueled my riding mower. No more lifting the 5 gal jug. On a minus note, be ready when you turn it on. The button on top of the handle is just decorative. The pickup bulb barely goes in my 5 gal gas can.
