Like the summary says, solid build and appearance just like their portable radio. The cassette and Bluetooth both work well although the cassette door sometimes gets stuck. It can probably be pried open but I haven’t had it get stuck long enough to need to try that. I’m still on my first set of batteries and I’ve used it everyday for the past couple weeks. The drawback: no dub reggae or bass heavy music. I can testify that noise tapes do sound good through it. All I’ve tried is noise and dub because that’s mostly what I listen to. All in all a strangely competent offering from one of those weird Chinese “companies” whose name looks like letters do when you’re trying to read in a dream. ... show more

Ruined my tapes. It worked for the first day and then it started eating all the tape out of my cassettes and now it will hardly even play them and ruined my tapes. It’s an adorable radio and I wish I could give it a good review but tapes are expensive these days and the fact that it damaged some of mine made it really disappointing. ... show more

    • Careful rewinding tapes
This is a pretty cool stereo, but the first one I got worked perfectly fine until I rewound a tape, ever since then it would not play any cassettes with the tape door closed, the play button wouldn't fully engage. I had to leave the door open with the tape just hanging out in there in order for it to play and occasionally it would eat the tape up, which having a vintage collection is literally the worse thing that could ever happen. I exchanged that for another one, but I am just terrified to ever rewind or fast forward a tape again. I'll only ever either play or stop. ... show more
