Works great. Added AppleCarplay to a 2004 XJ8. The car didn't have Bluetooth so I had to use the FM modulator in the unit. Having used many of these in the past (none of which worked) I was quite stunned to discover that this actually works "very" well (sounds just like the FM radio, and almost as good as Bluetooth in my other cars or the CD in the Jag. I realized afterwards that the unit could actually support a backup camera (which again my older card didn't have). Customer support were awesome, I asked if I could purchase the cable or a camera and they sent me one FOC. Highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a low cost way to add CarPlay to their vehicle.

This product has a very clean look. The graphics are great. However, the screen has a pretty bad lag when trying to interact with the Maps. Additionally, the screen would lose connection with the phone every 2 to 5 minutes. The problem was fixed by factory resetting the screen and disconnecting and reconnecting the Bluetooth from the phone.

The good: it’s easy to set up and it works well for CarPlay (what I use). The so-so: the line-out quality isn’t great. My stereo system isn’t great either, so this doesn’t affect me too much. The bad: the actual device doesn’t match the majority of the images on the listing. There is always a manufacturer menu on the side instead of showing fullscreen CarPlay.

I love this, in my older bmw my stero didnt allow my bluetooth connection but now with this i can have apple carplay, fast connection and only thing i dislike is the sticky part provided really dry out quick and doesnt last.

Works perfectly, I can even use Uber and Lyft app on it for when I’m driving and music is more clear played through this with Apple CarPlay then through Bluetooth!!!

The screen is clear and bright. Touchscreen has good responsiveness. Didn’t seem slow to me. Works well with no lag. Customer service was excellent. Christy helped me get the camera sorted out for it, which also works great. Very good quality for the price.
