There was not a "user manual" or any directions in the box. It was just the speaker, so I had trouble at first pairing it to my phone. By trial & error, I was able to figure out which of the 5 buttons is the "pairing" button. You have to hold it in for a long time. It's pretty how it lights up in different colors. This device can be used in multiple sites, i.e. beach, patio, any outdoor event and activity or even inside your home. Bluetooth setup was super easy and the sound quality is awesome. It even has an equalizer function. It is compact but with a stereo sound. I'd highly recommend this purchase!
