Great sound and I appreciate that I can plug it into the charger while it is standing rather than having the port on the bottom. We are using it in an office for background music and it plays classical instrumentation clearly (no screeching of the strings!) and creates a relaxing atmosphere. The lowest volume is still loud enough to fill the entire room as background music (with the computer volume set on 3). If you want something super quiet, this might not go low enough, but I have confidence in it's ability to go loud! My only complaints are that the power on announcement is annoyingly loud when it tells you that (a) it is ready to pair then (b) that it has paired. It does automatically pair up to the last connected device and remember your volume settings. However, it does not remember your lighting settings, so you have to reset those each time it is powered up. It seems it doesn't have single-color options for every color that pulses through the multi-color options, but we prefer to use it without lights so that was not an issue.

The media could not be loaded. S7-1 30 watt Bluetooth speaker. The ONLY complaint that I have about these speakers- As another review mentions, there is a LOUD female voice, as soon as you turn the speaker on. When the speaker reaches 10% charge it gives a warning beep. 5 seconds after that it gives a second warning. Another 5 seconds and it shuts down. At that point it will not play, even plugged in. It has to charge back up to about 30% to play again. And then there's a trick. You can't power it up with the USB cable plugged in. Have to power it on, then plug in the charger. Before I proceed, I also want to mention that this review is for the speaker with the controls along the top, not the speakers with the controls along the side. And to mention that these speakers are not branded, and sold under different names by other sellers. That doesn't detract from them at all, but just mentioning it That said. I got these for about 30 dollars. Each. So I bought 2. What did I get for 30 dollars... Very simple and easy to pair together for stereo sound. (See video) A speaker that is slightly larger than a 40 oz jar of peanut butter (See pics) that sounds pretty darn good, depending upon your device, music quality, etc. Overall the entire range is really good for a 30 watt sound device. Highs and mids are clear and pronounced, and the woofers can produce a modest level of thump and punch, as well as some rumble. (They're 30 watts, don't expect super hard punch or thump that will rattle windows, lol). But at 30 dollars, 30 watts they really do well. Volume- as a renter, with very thin walls, I have to keep the volume down. From my phone, at about 25% volume they are adequate to drown out the guy across the hall. At 35% I can give him a dose of his own medicine. Also to note that these speakers have independent volume control. A great feature that allows you to turn up the volume on the speakers themselves without affecting the volume on your phone. Not only is that very convenient, but it lets you really crank up the sound. Taking the speaker outside, and cranking it up, it's loud. Loud and clear enough to make people get mad. Loud enough for sitting around a fire with friends, family cookout, etc. For a little 30 watt speaker, it can pump some surprising volume. RGB- the level of light is subtle, modest. Which is just fine for indoors, or leaving the speakers on at night, or in low lit areas. I haven't played with the different modes, because RGB doesn't really interest me. I will say though, not as a con, but when paired as a set, the RGB does NOT pair to each other, they don't change in sync. That may annoy some people. Bluetooth- Pairing to a phone, tablet, etc is simple and quick, with pretty decent range from the tablet, and connection between walls. The connection remains stable, and doesn't drop during normal use. There is a small, rubber hatch that covers the connectors for USB, SD card, etc. helps to keep water and dust out of the speaker. It's very subtle, and unobtrusive. Very easy to look past and not see it. I did notice that with the hatch open, you can see the RGB through the card slot. Charge- I've been using these on and off for a couple of days now, and under sporadic use, they're still at 80% battery. Strap- Get used to picking up and holding this speaker by the strap. It's oh so easy to put pressure against those external unprotected speakers on the sides when picking it up or holding it. Overall, quite pleased with this purchase, aside from that loud notification at power up. Definitely recommend them for self use or as gifts.

I love this speaker. It has great sound and heavy bass.. Not too big and not too small.. The lights are nice and my favorite is watching the bass vibrate the smaller inner parts. If your looking for a good Bluetooth speaker, this one is definitely a good one for the price.

The media could not be loaded. While I am very happy with both the sound quality and volume while maintaining clarity there is one thing that I do not like. And that is the strange AI voice prompt for 'Ready to Pair and Paired' it is very annoying, first few times it was funny, now it is not. It goes thru both prompts every time you connect, or walk out of BT range and then return. Needs an option to turn that off! *Follow up The BT announcement is VERY annoying, not only is it not necessary it is in broken english. Add to that the habit of not turning off the phone ringing from the speaker after answering a call while playing music, thus freezing the device, makes it impossible for me to recommend this BT speaker. Needs some serious work on the software. *Another follow up Now the BT speaker won't transfer calls back to the phone and I can't answer the phone, and I can't turn it off. Switched sound to earbuds for call but speaker still ringing (for the last 10 minutes) and won't shut off or respond to any buttons. This thing has serious software issues so don't buy it.

Good sound and volume however if my phone rings it goes into a death mode not allowing you to turn it off even with the power button. Different death modes with phone ringing sound, annoying system sounds and no sound, the one thing death modes have in common is that you cant turn off the speaker until its good and ready for you. sometimes lasting until the battery dies. Con #2. while most Bluetooth speakers have different tones to let you know your connected, this one has a woman speaking with an accent so heavy and annoying.
