This is my favorite Amazon purchase I've made this far. I have it set up beside my bed on top of some drawers so it's about bed height. This thing has a pretty decent fan which I was surprised about. I fill the chamber with distilled water, and have just recently used the ice holder which does make it feel even colder. I'd like to add, I purchased this to use at home because the rest of the household leaves the a/c on 80⁰. This is great for me to have in my room to stay cool while everyone else can be happy with the temperature they prefer. It doesn't exactly cool the entire room, but with this pointing at you on high, especially with the ice, you'll get cold. Again, I haven't tried it outside or anywhere hotter and we do still have central air, so it may be less effective elsewhere, but for my needs it is EXACTLY what I wanted and I am very happy and cool! 😎 ... show more

Complete waste of money… I was able to get about an hour’s use out of it and it never came back on after.. unfortunately I can’t return because I’m out of the return window

Arrived appearing new, in the box but when I pulled it out it was dusty and dirty (both inside and out) as if it had been used previously. The water level window leaked - I used some clear nail polish and that seems to work for now. Seems to put out cool air and runs quietly.

It works great as a personal cooler. Hard water will inhibit performance quickly so clean it once a week. Works great in AZ.

    • It's fine, but you might as well buy a nicer one
It's basically a fan that blows SLIGHTLY cooler air from water absorption. Ice definitely helps but only until it melts; water by itself barely makes a difference. Feels nice right in front of your face while doing some stationary task but that's it. Also it is MESSY, must bring it to the sink to add water bc there is no good way to get it in without water getting everywhere. Also like someone else posted in a video, occasionally leaks out of the water level indicator. Gotta keep it on a tray or towel. So yeah you get what you pay for, shouldn't have bought something with so few reviews at the time 😭 ... show more
