I have been using this small cooling fan on my desk for over two weeks, the most noticeable thing is that on afternoons without AC, pointing it at my face feels significantly cooler than a regular fan. The water tank filled once with cool water lasts about four to five hours on medium mist, so I don't have to run to refill constantly. Refilling is easy — just pull out the tank and run it under the faucet. The cooling effect comes from water evaporation, the air blowing out is cooler than room temperature but not wet or damp, placed about half a meter in front of me the difference is very obvious. The fan has two speed settings, low is very quiet and doesn't bother me during an afternoon nap, high is powerful and with mist turned on it cools down the air in front of me quickly. It also has a small night light feature, plugged in at night it works as a soft ambient light that isn't harsh. The size is very compact, I can pick it up with one hand and move it from the study to the bedside without any effort. The real experience is that this is not a compressor-based air conditioner that can cool an entire room, but for spot cooling right at a desk or bedside it does its job very well. On summer days when running a full AC feels wasteful, or in a rented bedroom without AC installed, having this blowing next to you genuinely makes the space tolerable.
