I do NOT NOT recommend spending the money on this portable ac windowless unit. It is not worth it. I tried using this in a small bedroom of maybe 100 ft that tends to be the warmest room in the house. It did not bring the temperature of the room down at all. The fan barely blows any air out, even on the highest setting, it still feels low… and there is 6 different setting for how strong the air is supposed be blowing out. So basically, if you aren’t within 2 feet of the unit, you can’t feel it. After you freeze the little containers and put extra ice in it with water, the air comes out cool, but definitely not cold. If the fan part was decent, it might be worth keeping. Oh, and it only blows cool air for a very short amount of time and then it just makes the room humid. I would say it’s more of a humidifier than an AC unit. It looks nice, but that’s about it. Also, the buttons on the unit aren’t good. You can push one, and nothing happens, so you have to push multiple times. Going back on the reviews for this unit, you can see that a lot of the reviews aren’t even for this unit. This was a waste of money it leaks and it does not cool no matter how much ice you put in it's a piece of crap don't buy it I wish I could return it but it's beyond the 30 or 90 days so I'm stuck with it I'm throwing it in the trash it's a piece of s*** don't buy it it is leak so bad that it has now damaged my wood floors so thanks a lot for nothing

We live in Florida and are using two of these units in two upstairs bedrooms. They definitely cool the room in a hurry with the door closed. With the doors open they cool 1000 ft.² fairly well.

The cooling ability of this cooler was not there. Even with the ice packs. The noise level was not bad and it did not take up a lot of space, but I would not recommend for a space larger than 6x6.

The Wicolo Portable Air Cooler was completely ineffective. Although we had it filled with iced water, with the freezer blocks in the water and ice cubes in the top, the air was barely cool. The fan is weak. If we could increase the fan power beyond the number six, possibly the wind chill factor would have increased. The resultant performance was a very sticky apartment on every surface, and no decrease in the heat in our living room. Sorry. We will have to return this product.

If you're looking for a AC replacement this is not it. What this is basically accumulates to a regular fan that uses water to increase the coolness of the fan. This model holds more water than the old piece of equipment that I have currently however it does not remarkably cool better and cost a lot higher than a regular fan that does the same thing without water. I personally wouldn't use this or buy this again unless you live in a swamp and you can or need something like this to cool off. Like I said this is not a portable air conditioner nor is it a replacement for it. So far the quality is well made and it works as intended but it's still has no innovation over my old model in terms of coolness performance so it really is just a fan with a water Reserve that slightly and the right condition increases the air coolness but not by a considerable amount. Also the price is pretty high for just a fan with a water Reserve. I would recommend either an industrial fan or a tower quiet fan instead of this. Another knock on this is that it is completely White and like most white things does dirt and grime will show far more and the tendency of it turning yellow is high.

I really wanted this to work. I have a small bedroom that gets really hot in the summer with a small window that doesn't allow for any air. Here are some of the problems: 1. It states that it's "windowless," but the instructions say you should have a window open. 2. There is a space on top for putting ice. But once the ice melts, the water stays there for weeks (until you dump it out). 3. The air conditioner works as a glorified fan, but the air it pushes out at maximum level is very weak. So it really doesn't make a difference in a small room. 4. There is a cardboard honeycomb in the back. The instructions don't say what it does. Am I supposed to keep it? Or remove it? After 3 weeks, I removed it, and the air started flowing out at a strong level. But then the water started leaking. So I put the cardboard back. And the leaking persisted.
