I've had this product for a little over a month and I'm surprised that there are negative reviews. This is a great product for what it is. If you are looking for a literal air conditioner it should be obvious that this is not it. This is a fan with a water cooling element and it works quite well for that. It has a large resevoir for water and I can have it going on the lowest setting all night and not run out of water. I've had one like this in the past that was smaller and I would have to refill it in the middle of the night but this one is perfect! It even has a cool nightlight effect with multiple color and even rainbow options! The fan can be used on its own and has multiple settings or with the "blower" and it has several nozzles so you can adjust how much cooled water mist comes out. This would also be great for someone who just likes a little white noise while they are sleeping. I'm planning on getting a second one for my office. ... show more

If you are looking for something more than a misting fan you will need access to cool water and/or ice. I bought this to use in my office since we only have a window unit and it works decently. The high fan setting isn’t as powerful as regular desk fans I own but it’s decent. It’s easy to set up, clean, and operate. Having the remote is great. I have been searching on Amazon for a while for a good cooler fan and came across this product... I bought it. It arrived in 2 days when estimated shipping said 4 days. No parts were missing and the product worked. It worked very well actually. I didn't think this little guy right here would be so powerful. You can feel the fan distance from about 6 feet away, but the closer you are the more cooler you feel. I use this cooler fan in my gaming office. I have a gaming computer that can sometimes run hot so it makes my office a bit warmer... This cooler fan helps with that by bringing the temperature surrounding my desk down a few degrees. After reading reviews I had high hopes for this "Portable Air Conditioner". I purchased for my daughter's dorm room. I figured I would give it a test run before the upcoming semester and I am glad that I did. The unit is easy to carry and to fill with water. The leather carry strap and remote control with batteries included are nice features and there are a few different settings and timer. But the air produced by this unit was not powerful, even on high setting. The cool mist is nice but very very light. Unless you are sitting directly in front of the fan you barely feel it. Maybe nice if you work in an office at a desk and want a gentle, cool, mist but definitely not what I expected. I cannot imagine it would cool a dorm room on a hot New England Day. It is a cooling fan with five nozzles to spray water mist. The water mist sprayed from the nozzles is very cold. That is how it works so well. It has a remote control and I can also control it by touching it. It works great for camping, I just connect it to a power bank, and the fan will last hours.
