The pencils seem to have a nice soft fee to them and I believe they will be good for blending and for use in the intricate adult coloring books I purchased to go with the colored pencil set. I got my daughter this set of colored pencils for Christmas as she has quite the passion for drawing. I'm very impressed with how many shades of colors it has and it has now enabled my daughter to take her pictures to a whole new level with all of the color options available. I'm not sure what the "professional" quality of these pencils are but for a kid who's just starting out, at the price they're listed for, you can't go wrong. A very nice set of pencils, they color rather smoothly and have good hues. However I did receive multiple repeat colors, which means I'm missing several colors. Considering how many colors are in this, that I don't expect it to be much of an issue, but it's still slightly disappointing

The pencils are awesome just know the color test sheet doesn't show the true colors because of the type of paper it is printed on so I made my own in one of the sketch books it came with

I'm really happy with this product. All 100+ colored pencils are in the case. The case is very soft .I love that I can bring it with me to my art class or use it anywhere in the house. It comes with two medium sized sketch books and one coloring book and an additional coloring book Defiantly worth the money. Alot of the reviews were saying they were missing colored pencils.
