Weve had two Ice Makers since the on in our refrigerator quit. This is a descent one. A little on the noisy side but way cheaper than a new fridge and way easier than filling ice trays and making ice the old fashioned way.

I love this ice maker!! It’s a beautiful shade of red and does not leave water spots on the outside when drops fall from emptying the ice tray. It makes ice quickly and quielyt. It’s big enough to get the job done but doesn’t look bulky on my counter. I like cocktails and the ice is large and solid enough that it doesn’t melt too quickly when you add vodka or whiskey. This is my 2nd Frigidaire. I used my first one non-stop for almost 3 years until it died. March 13 2025 - June 14 2025 - 90 Days Ice Maker Stops Working When I first bought it attempted to reach Frigidaire to find out which distilled water they recommended. Found out that all customer service is handled by a Canadian company. They never responded to any of my questions. Amazon has no Support - Frigidaire no support - No help anywhere - So Far Looks like another Amazon purchased home appliance bites the dust . June 19th 2025 - More to say After a few days, this pathetic piece of home appliance decided to attempt to do as it was built for. I won’t say designed, because, well it gives designers a bad rap. It now makes very small malformed ice. I have taken a snapshot of the ice basket after a nights running. The machine creates enough heat internally to melt the ice and recycles the water. So energy conscious this is NOT. The ice comes out like little sombreros. The 26 pounds a day copy is Fantasy. Honestly - I think Amazon needs an in house testing lab before accepting an item to be sold. ... show more

so far it's working great!! I don't use it 24/7 though I only use it to let my refrigerator ice maker catch up every couple days but I love it it makes ice and just a few minutes and I love the bullet ice it's not loud at all I can barely hear when it drops ice. It's kind of big needs a little bit of counter space not bad I love it if it lasts a few years then I will be happy with it. And even though the ice melts and then it makes more there is always ice in the basket so you could leave it run all the time and you would always have ice. I'll update this in the future if it breaks or something bad happens. ... show more

Love my Frigidaire ice Maker. My only complaint is my ice cubes seem to be the same size small or large. But I can live with that. And also it tells me I'm out of water when there's still at least 6 oz left but it does not set level, so that might be my problem. I'm still giving it a 5 stare because it's so easy to use and I just take my basket of ice and put in quart bags That way if ice sticks together I can just Break it up on the counter ... show more
