I have to say, this small set impressed me enough to write a good review. The complexity of the different shades of colors was appealing. I do a lot of arts and crafts projects and these were a nice addition to add some shimmer. The only negative was that they come in a big long box attached to one flimsy piece of cardboard. They attach to this flimsy cardboard by their clips. Consequently when you go to slide this sizeable group of markers in this tiny narrow box - there are issues with everything getting stuck. They should have had all of these in a TRAY that slides easily in to the outer box. I am going to buy a plastic box to store these in and ditch the outer flimsy box. Still a good product. So I’ve had these markers for a year and a half and I use them not quite often but definitely more than 4/5 times a month and these markers are so awesome. They are truly metallic and the inks is so fluid and pretty.

Good colors. Great coverage but the ones I have are quite large around and the tip is less than ideal for fine details. Actually they are best suited for larger areas to paint. It does come with some odd colors that are less than idea but using them anyway. Pretty long lasting. I think I had these, for at least 4 years. Many artworks later I am, just getting to the point where I am using water to revive them and then completly drain it of color before throwing it out. Wish they were recyclable. ... show more

Dry out somewhat quickly. Some are also more pigmented than others, whereas some markers show up very dark and others are quite opaque. The colors are a bit of a guessing game. I usually draw a line with each marker on a blank sheet of paper before I start coloring & keep the markers lined up in that order, but it takes up a lot of space, and more time and thought than I’d prefer in order to do it that way. The lids and ends of the markers are supposed to indicate which color you’re using, but most of the markers draw in a completely different tone of the color indicated. ... show more

Update #2: Although some came dried out, and they are not suitable for shiny surfaces, these pens do work well on unfinished wood. I've actually been using them on wood surfaces. Based on that and great customer service from the Seller, I recommend them. Update: 5 for Customer Service, 1 for Pens. The vendor reached out to me and issued a refund. Great Customer Service! These are touted as "Permanent Markers", with the ability to draw on virtually "anything". No so! Look at the a photos of them on rocks and glass and ceramics. Not true. They are only good for drawing on paper. Wake up Amazon users. A lot of these worthless imports are the same as those we can order directly from the Asian country, but don't because we know the products are junk. I'm very disappointed with this purchase, which was a gift for a loved one. ... show more
