I ordered this for an outdoor pond to boost aeration. The instructions were very clear, and it was easy to install the system. One note: the instructions did say that it was recommended that the air stones soak in water for 24-48 hours prior to use, but I only soaked them for about an hour and did not have any issues. They give you plenty of hose and the device came almost fully charged. We had several cloudy days, and we did not notice any issues. Works mostly as described. Full sun, you are golden. Plenty of time to fill battery and keep output high. Shade is the kicker. If you have solar panels where it gets shade :-(
