A bit disappointed. When charging via solar panels there are no LED lights or display to know the charging status. Theres no ports of any type for optional charging. One of my units is louder than the other yet they are the same model. I may end up returning them if they don’t perform well. Packaging was just fine no issues there.

The media could not be loaded. I am in the process of setting up a small patio pond for the summer. I do not have an electrical outlet close to my garden, so I rely on solar power to generate an air pump. This pump is fantastic! It works, even when the panel is not in sunlight. I can change the mode for more or less air flow. This set comes with plenty of hose, which can be cut to desired size. It also has three air stones and split tube attachments if you choose to place three stones. Until I found this pump, other solar pumps I have tried failed to work when not in the direct sunlight. This one stores the power and continues to work, even when the sun is not directly on the panel. The panel comes with attachments for the side of the house, or a stake to lift it off the ground.

I like the fact that during a power outage, this will be running during the day as long as the sun is out. This is a great way in giving your aquariums oxygen when you need it most, when there is no power available after a storm. Setup was pretty easy where it comes with everything you see. I just had to find a mounting spot for the solar panel in order to get the maximum sun during the day, so I installed it on a long-standing pipe away from trees or vegetation. Other than that, it's made pretty well. The pump's housing is not waterproof but it's pretty solid. Make sure you put the pump under a cover. The hoses are basic and the air stones are standard. As for the pump, there are different modes in how much air you want to deliver. The amount of bubbles this generates is very good as well. The indicator lights are easily seen and are very useful. Overall, this is a lifesaver for those who take care of a lot of aquatic life. This is made well and made to withstand a lot of conditions which makes this well worth it.
