I got this tent to make setting up my campsite easier. This tent really did make setting up very fast. You just pull the tent out of the bag and it pops open and is assembled in seconds. Just need to stake it down. Its nice and roomy. It says 6 people but I would say more like its good for 4 people with room remaining for gear. The quality is good. Its strong and durble. You can open up both doors or each size and stake it up like awnings. This makes for really great airflow. Taking it down and getting it down is a little bit more tricky. I am familiar with this style tent so I pretty much have it figured out, but for anyone who is not, its a bit of a learning curve. I am overall very happy with this lightweight tent. ... show more

Purchased this tent for a camping trip to sleep 4 people and I am very disappointed because it really only fits 2 possibly 3. This is not a 6 person tent like I was looking for. Would love to return it.

This is a nice design for a super comfortable 2 person - family of 4 but 6 adults would get to know each other in the biblical sense. It opens in seconds which is great, putting it back together is a totality different experience. Taped floor seams are appreciated in rain storms, and cross ventilation is excellent. The price at order time was $109.99 and reasonable, its a great deal at $82.99 (as of this review). If you adept in collapsing this "spring tents", then this is for you, but if you are old school you might want to rethink the purchase. Knowing this I RECOMMEND. ... show more

What I like about this product is the quick ability to put it up. I like that it is bigger as I have a 90 lb dog I came with. I have never had a pop up tent before, so this is definitely a learning curve if you've never had one. I still don't understand the take down process completely. I should have watched a video before I used it like the others did. I didn't realize I needed to fold this down twice to get it into the small carrying bag at first because the take down seemed super simple! Then I realized how much bigger it was than the bag it came in, that's when the hard part started! I still cannot get it back as flat as it was, but I think it's because I screwed it up a bit in the beginning until I watched the right video. So the poles are a bit 'confused' now I'm afraid 😟. I wish the seams were double sewn, but for the price point this is a great starter tent. I did not use it in severe weather yet, however, I wouldn't want to use this in any heavy windstorm or hail or something crazy. I would say this fits 3 adults plus gear, as I am more of the backpacking geared camping enthusiast (yes I know this isn't for backpacking, but I am used to putting my bags and all my stuff in the tent with me for protection from elements, not a car). Considering the size of the average American, I feel like 4-6 people is a bit of a stretch here... I am 5 feet tall. And my dog is as big as me. And I feel like maybe one more person could fit in here if I really like them, but I camp to get away from people so... I camped with just the screens in 100 degrees in this tent with fans and managed well. I bought this for short trips when I didn't want to travel with my RV. I am a former backpacker, so now I don't plan to tent camp on the regular, just mostly on quick trips, use as a beach tent, or on this occasion when my tow vehicle was in the shop and I needed to get away for a while in sheer desperation. For my needs this should suit me well, if I ever manage to get the take down process down into 5 minutes, like I am used to with a bivy tent or hammock camping. If it was up to my high maintenance dog, this thing would be in the trash though, because he could hear a deer snorting through it and tried to make a run for the car... 🤣 He enjoyed the extra space upgrade from my 3 person, which is more like a 2 person tent though. One bonus tip: upgrade your camping stakes. And don't use this in the winter time unless you're tougher than the average grizzly bear 😉 ... show more
