Built with a UV-coated return ramp, plexiglass backboard, water-resistant frame and electronics, the Indoor-Outdoor Dual Shot is built to survive and thrive. The new Pop-A-Shot Indoor-Outdoor Dual Shot has been redesigned with improved water resistance and durability in mind. Pop-A-Shot engineers included a black black ball return ramp to better resist weathering and fading. The inside of the frame tubes are powder-coated to inhibit rust, and the bottom of the ramp has an open front to improve airflow and reduce the buildup of water. We had the same trouble that a lot of reviews say. One of the sensors was not working. We did the troubleshooting for the one sensor and then emailed them. The company got back to me really quickly, had me send pictures and walked me through what we did wrong. (VERY kind, quick response...within half an hour) It was as easy as having the net upside down and blocking the sensor. It is working perfectly now. Did seem to take a while to set up but l my three boys and I had fun doing it ourselves. Fun, entertaining and seems sturdy! ... show more

Update: we called up pop-a-shot to ask for help with our unit. They apologized, chocked it up to our being a rare lemon, and then sent us a new unit. We didn’t have to deal with returning the old one, we just donated it to a charity where someone will enjoy a rusty pop-a-shot with a scoreboard that shuts off sometimes. Upgraded from 2 stars to 4 stars for great customer service. The three pointers - pop-a-shot is fun!!! The games are great, and everyone can play! The jump balls- assembly wasn’t too difficult, but it could have been more clear. I made some small mistakes that were easy to fix. The game could also announce what each game is (1 is head to head, etc). The flagrant fouls- delivered quality is remarkably poor. This is supposed to be an outdoor set, so surface finish of the painted parts should be high quality. Instead, I found blistering paint with rust underneath (!!!), scratches from the factory (the number of the part was on top of the scratch!) and some bent tube openings that required I bend the metal a bit. I don’t hold out hope for this “outdoor” set to have a long life. Also, mysteriously, the game shuts down randomly. It’s brand new, just assembled and with new batteries. So there seems to be a loose connection on day one… all around, these things are disappointing. I’ll see if I can file a warranty claim, but returning the unit seems like a massive pain. I hope there are alternatives. ... show more

    • Great indoor fun for the family.
Assembly requires at least 2 people. Once assembled, still enjoying hours of fun. Everything works well, from the scoring mechanism to the sound effect. Would recommend it to others.

    • Defective electrical. Breaks after weeks of light use.
Control and electrical stopped working after two weeks of use. Avoid this product.

    • Customer service is excellent but the scoring accuracy is pitiful
The company advertises something like 98% scoring accuracy. I don't see how they got that number unless they took the nets off during testing. I have found with the nets on the scoring accuracy is I'm guesstimating 80% accurate. With the nets off it's probably 98% or more. It's very rare the scoreboard does not count a shot if the nets are off the rim. I have the nets off but it looks stupid that way. I wish I had not bought it. Also, the scoreboard would go dark when I first got it. You'd be shooting and within a minute or so, usually when a ball hit the scoreboard, it would go dark. I contacted the company and their customer service was excellent. I explained about the scoreboard and how horrible it scored with the nets on. They sent me a new scoreboard within a few days and it has worked incredibly well. They did not address the horrible scoring inaccuracy with the nets on. Perhaps there is nothing they can do about that. ... show more
