Love this game. It doesn't fit in our basement (ceiling too low) so I bought this outdoor model and keep it in the garage and wheel it out and play in the driveway. Love the different audio tracks and the battery life is great. Definitely sturdy enough for the outdoors, though I plan on covering it with a tarp if I ever need to leave it out in the elements. (It does run on electricity after all.) Had an issue building it, one of the screws was stripped. Then they sent the wrong replacement screw. (See photo) However, I got next day response to my emails and they shipped the parts quickly. The missing screw didn't really need to be tightened with a nut, so I just stuck it in place and could play right away. And now I have the proper screw so everything is fine. I was able to build it myself, with the "help" of my 8 year old. Do yourself a favor and watch the YouTube assembly video BEFORE you start putting it together! Bottom line. Product is sturdy, well built and tons of fun. My boys (8 and 10) love it. (We play "free play" and the first person to 50 points wins, as the timed games are a bit too hard for them.) Plus, my smart watch credits me with a "step" for every shot I attempt! Great way to get your exercise! BUY IT!

We had the same trouble that a lot of reviews say. One of the sensors was not working. We did the troubleshooting for the one sensor and then emailed them. The company got back to me really quickly, had me send pictures and walked me through what we did wrong. (VERY kind, quick response...within half an hour) It was as easy as having the net upside down and blocking the sensor. It is working perfectly now. Did seem to take a while to set up but l my three boys and I had fun doing it ourselves. Fun, entertaining and seems sturdy!

I made my research on this product and purchased the Double Hoop Outdoor unit. Pros Assembling it took about 2 hours. Instructions are 90% clear, I had to figure out a couple of things by myself but its a good quality product overall. Cons Here is where I am dissapointed: 1) There is no Height Adjustment. Even Online tutorials say that this product comes with extenders. Well it does NOT. I have children and for them is just fine, but I find that for adults it could work if it was a little higher. 2) Many Amazon Reviews here state that this product has an AC Adapter. This is not True. I purchased the Outdoor unit and it didnt include it. So I was willing to adapt one for it and customer support confirms that the Outdoor Unit DOES NOT HAVE THE OPTION to put an AC Adapter! It doesnt have an Audio Out either!! THE CONTROL BOX DOESNT HAVE THE OUTPUT JACKS for Power or Audio! This is a more expensive model and I find it has more limitations !! I am dissapointed Honestly I could have purchased the Indoor version for a cheaper price , but I decided to go with the OUTDOOR model in order to have the option to take it outside for an occasional Birthday party and thought it would make it long laster. If I had known that this unit would not have the AC and audio options I would not have chosen it.

Update: we called up pop-a-shot to ask for help with our unit. They apologized, chocked it up to our being a rare lemon, and then sent us a new unit. We didn’t have to deal with returning the old one, we just donated it to a charity where someone will enjoy a rusty pop-a-shot with a scoreboard that shuts off sometimes. Upgraded from 2 stars to 4 stars for great customer service. The three pointers - pop-a-shot is fun!!! The games are great, and everyone can play! The jump balls- assembly wasn’t too difficult, but it could have been more clear. I made some small mistakes that were easy to fix. The game could also announce what each game is (1 is head to head, etc). The flagrant fouls- delivered quality is remarkably poor. This is supposed to be an outdoor set, so surface finish of the painted parts should be high quality. Instead, I found blistering paint with rust underneath (!!!), scratches from the factory (the number of the part was on top of the scratch!) and some bent tube openings that required I bend the metal a bit. I don’t hold out hope for this “outdoor” set to have a long life. Also, mysteriously, the game shuts down randomly. It’s brand new, just assembled and with new batteries. So there seems to be a loose connection on day one… all around, these things are disappointing. I’ll see if I can file a warranty claim, but returning the unit seems like a massive pain. I hope there are alternatives.

If your sensors or control pad arnt working read my review... First,my wife and I were able to assemble this in about an hour together. We are both very happy with it and had a blast playing against eachother. It has been a hit at all my parties as well. Now...when we got it assembled we were having problems with not being able to pick the games, adjust the sound...and like many of the one star reviews stated the left sensors werent working. Needless to say, I was mad and felt like I was going to be one of those 1 star reviewers. Then I began thinking...I have multiple trailers that I use and the couplers that connect the trailer to my truck have "prongs" that all function with a different purpose. This got me thinking about the plug in the back of the score board...and the sensors. Maybe they need to be plugged in a certain way in order to work. So I unplugged the main controller and had my wife at the control pad. I rotated it over 1 and had my wife try everything. Nope. I rotated over a gain and had my wife try everything...Bingo. It all worked as it was suspose too. I was able to control the sound...choose games...etc. I kept doing the same for the sensors until they worked. Make sure they are screwed together tight and are lined up the way they need to be. It worked for me...hopefully if your having problems it will work for you.

I don't think they thought through the outdoor one enough. I like the clear plexiglass back. However, it makes it more difficult to align the hoops and one is pointed down and the other to the side. The worst part is it doesn't close all the way and hits the hoops (see pic). The side net drops down and then balls fall out. Not a lot, but enough to be annoying. The bottom two screws on the battery compartment are blocked. You can bend the bar down, but seems like an easy oversight. It also eats batteries so now I just screw in the two side ones to make it easier. I'd like to be able to power it. We have high basement ceilings and I'd like to make it taller, but the outdoor version doesn't have extensions. With all that being said, it is a lot of fun for the whole family. I wish I had bought the indoor one for the reasons noted above even though I like the plexiglass. Watch a video for putting it together. The instructions were minimal and I had to take some of it apart after watching the video to fix it.

ADDING TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW (below): The scoreboard didn’t make it through the winter stored in my freezing barn. I contacted the company to get a new one AND…they sent a new one pronto. These people must be from another planet, or another era. Service like that doesn’t happen any more. I wish they sold other stuff. This is the perfect addition to our family! My girls (aged 12 and 13) can spend hours a day outside playing with this. And I love competing with them, at something that levels the playing field between children and adults. The company that sells this is excellent. There was a slight problem with one of the pieces, and they were prompt in their response and shipping of the replacement part. That’s a rare thing these days!
