I was using this to make a game board, and found each piece was not milled to the same specs so each was off by either a 32nd or 64th, which makes a difference when doing smaller projects. Not a huge deal I guess, as I had a thickness planer available but would have been nice if they were even.     • Uneven but nice wood
I needed a new 36 inch riser for a window AC unit, so thought I might buy these blanks and glue three together. Unfortunately, I didn't take that "Surfaced hit or miss @ 1"-15/16"" line seriously. All of the end cuts are at different angles and none of the dimensions match, so gluing without surgery on the blanks was a no-go. Luckily, I wasn't exactly looking for precision in the first place so I could just Gorilla Tape it. The wood itself is very nice and as blanks the pieces should be fine.
